If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Do you seriously need to ask?

I''d like to know what you guys think about the website. Has anyone checked it out?

I''m doubting Tiffany has registered a site with the .me top-level domain. At the very least, it''s probably trademark infringement! I wouldn''t trust it if I were you.

I think they take stock photos from the real Tiffanys site and then put them on their site...you buy it and then they send you a replica. The only thing I''m not sure of is how they can get away with it legally.

Hi there, Upgradable

I took a good look at the site. The first giveaway to their "legitimacy", are the multiple syntax errors in their copy. For example:

"Since long time, Tiffany.me has built relationships with thousands of customers and served their jewelry shopping needs, and we are among the highest rated online jewelers in terms of customer satisfaction and quality of merchandise. Our company has over years experience in the jewelry industry, and we are located in Hong Kong."

Anyone who purchases from that particular site, is likely to be getting an original piece...from Tiffanknee

They can''t get away with it legally. Tiffany is pretty vigilant about policing its trademark, so they are probably in the process of trying to have the domain name transferred to them or shut down completely.

Well....

The Tiffany.me domain name is registered by Xin Net Technology Corp. R124-ME (120) and e42 GmbH

More information on domain tiffany.me here

e24 gmbh offers may popular domain names you can buy, So I''m guessing they bought the name and then a third party has since rented or bought the domain from them.

I love the "Copyright ? 2009" at the bottom of the page - I think the "?" invokes a certain amount of sketchieness that would be hard to impart otherwise.

This site is a blatant Tiffany rip-off constructed with stolen copyrighted Tiffany images. The absolute best you can hope for is fairly expensive Tiffany knockoffs that might be silver and cz (or not even silver).

I think the site also has tracking cookies from http://www.linezing.com/, But my understanding of HTML just isn''t that good.

Run away!

About as legit as many of what''s been found on eBay.

well they have certainly tried very hard to make it look some what like the real Tiffany website. the price itself is a dead give away that this site is a complete knock off zone

Ahahahaha, Tiffanyknee..... Classic.
