Wedding Anyone''s plans affected by hurricanes?

I know of a few people who were rained out by this storms but I don''t know the details. Hurricanes are the only reason I am not getting married in the fall!

my FI''s little boy lives in mobile with the ex-wife, so it''s been an interesting week or so! we''ve still got 39 days to go, but it''s hard to focus on planning when you''re worrying about part of the family!

I worry for all those affected, and not sure I could live in NOLA after this. Mass exodus each time a large storm might hit would get old after a while. Those people cannot live with that, and I am not sure New Orleans can be really fixed and be safe, which saddens me.

But Diamond, New Orleans DID turn out okay this time. No major flooding, no major damage, levies all held...

my aunt''s was ALMOST made indoor by rain bands from Gustav, but it stopped about 10 mins before the ceremony!!
