I have been typing and writing quite a bit lately, both at work and for grad school. Anybody have recommendations on exercises or a brace that I can purchase that would be good? Thanks!

I feel your pain! I will have to find my brace to tell you the brand. It helps a lot, when I remember to wear it. I found it helps the most when I wear it while sleeping.

Remember, with carpal tunnel you'll be numb and/or tingly. Tendonitis just plain hurts. Get a brace that doesn't let you move your wrist and sleep in it if you have to. Also keep your mouse as close to your body as possible and consider a mouse pad with a bump in front.

Good advice! I bought a brace and it seems to be helping...though I can't really get used to wearing it while I sleep.

It's strange, because I'm experiencing some tingling and numbness...but mostly pain. I'm guessing it's a tendonitis issue. I'm going to do that with the mouse pad. Thanks!!

Please take care of it. Don't just live with it, as it does get worse and can become chronic. A good doctor will help out a lot. I had tendinitis in both ankles (twice) and they required medication, infrared treatment and physiotherapy to heal.
