which is based off of "How To Teach Filthy Rich Girls" by author Zoey Dean? I have only seen the pilot but thought it was really cute! So far it stays *fairly* true to the book.

Tacori I really liked it too I watched the pilot but tapes the next one and have yet to watch it but I am really into it.
I liked the lead actress from when she was on Reba

The one tonight is taping right now. I did miss last week''s. I went to the CW website but my computer is acting funky so I could not watch it. My mom loves Reba too so that was reason enough for her to watch it. The book is really cute and I can already tell from previews that they *ARE* veering off (like in the book she was there to help with their SAT scores and they were seniors and went to FL with a boyfriend. Plus I don''t remember a sister but it was awhile that I read it) But I guess to make it a series (not movie) they have to throw in some more plot twists.

Oh thanks for letting me know that they are veering a bit b/c I haven''t read the book(s)? But was thinking that I might. I taped last night''s one and I''ll be watching it tonight but I think I''ll stick with it. But I hope I don''t get all invested and then they don''t pick it up for the full season or just cut it after like 4 episodes that always upsets me b/c it leaves so much unresolved.
I have last week taped too bad I can send it to you via Tivo or something it was cute. IF your computer keeps acting up let me know I can do a bit of a recap for you.

The book is really cute and a fast read. You probably could read it in a week (or less). I thought the last episode was so cute. She is such a likable character! I''ll try to watch the one I missed later today. I''ll let you know if I need a recap.

I AM watching Dancing! I don''t have a favorite yet though I think Brooke will be in the final 2. Misty is really good too. Do you have a favorite?

Thanks for such a compliment on my Tessa! Seriously PS is bad for the ego. Whenever I am feeling down I just re-read what people said on my wedding thread. Always perks me up!

Yeah I really like Megan. I think I may track down the book and read it and I''ll let you know what I think. I love dancing but no real favorite just yet.
I think Brooke will be in the final for sure she is really good and I do like Misty b/c I watched all her games and stuff during the olympics and I was totally rooting for her and did you see in the audience her partner Kerry was there to support her so cute.
I have no others that I am super attached to.
I didn''t mind that the comedian went first and the guy from married with children that was fine with me I wasn''t that familiar with them anyway.
I like Megan with the neighbor but who knows how the show will take it.
Do you know if the girls who play Sage and Rose are really related? There is a resemblance I think or maybe I am imagining it b/c I see that they are supposed to be twins on the show ya know?
I have rambled on but tell me after you watch the next one and I''ll let you know if I find the book. Chapters? probably.


I love PS too such a nice place some of my girlfriends are on some others including the knot and a lot of the ladies on there are kinda mean which sucks this place is inclusive and for the most part non-judgemental LOVE IT!

I don''t have any friends/family IRL on PS. I told my MIL when I first joined b/c she loves jewelry too but I am glad now she never joined. This place is like my therapy and I certainly have done my fair share of venting. I am glad you like it here too. I lurked on the knot when I was about to get engaged/just got engaged and I agree. Those women have problems! They were so mean. I mean really, really horrible. I remember someone bragging about her ring and they said go to PS for stuff like that NOT here. That''s the first time I ever heard of Pricescope. It became quickly obvious I was more interested in other''s e-rings than wedding details

Of course I never would have guessed I would be here from engagement to motherhood. But that is what is so great about PS. It is a community. My wedding was the best day of my life. It went so perfect. I love looking back at the photos and watching our wedding dvd.

She is as sweet as she is pretty. Not sure how we got so lucky. Often I wonder if her future sibling (and when I say future I mean years away! haha) will look like her. DH and his sister could be twins. Seriously scary. My siblings and I all look different. I guess only time will tell. Hopefully I''ll still be around to share baby 2 with you all.

I am not sure if the actresses who play Sage and Rose are related. I would doubt it but you are right there is *something* about them that looks related. Let me know if you read the book. It was fun. I love me some chick lit though. I used to read a book a week pre-baby. Now I have to be careful b/c once I start a book I cannot stop reading and Tessa gets up EARLY. So I usually end up dead tired for a few days until I FINALLY finish the book I was reading.

I agree it is early to start getting attached to any of the celebs on Dancing. I really hate Rocco (from his show) but he is actually kind of charming on the show. Maybe b/c he is the under dog. I always feel bad for those. There is a thread on Dancing over in hangout just so you know. The fact that Brooke can look that good 6 months after giving birth AND after 4 kids is crazy! My kid is almost a year and I STILL haven''t lost all of my baby weight. Oh well. I guess celebs have it easier (nannies, cooks, maids, trainers...)

Like I''ve gotten advice on a bad situation my best friend just went through and I don''t think I would have asked had I have known she was on here too. I would have felt like I was talking behind her back even though I wouldn''t really be.

I feel that even though PS is jewelry oriented one can stay here for tons of other thing like being a mom and weight loss and shopping in general and tons of other stuff.
I got on the knot too but never go on there and I feel they are snobby and yeah mean and most of all judgemental

I thought it was cute too! I agree the friend is SOOO in love with her. Sage was a horror in the book too. She is spoiled and manipulative. I LOVE how Lily saw right through her. I thought for sure the teacher blew Megan off. It was refreshing he didn''t. And I was proud of Rose. Maybe she is not so dumb after all.

I never thought I would still be on here when I first joined. But in all fairness I had never been part of a forum. I lurked on the knot but only posted a handful of times. This is my therapy. My escape. My entertainment. I also love this forum. Sometimes I think it is difficult to explain the connection I feel with so many women on here. I hope I am still around when kid #2 comes along (years...years). I am glad you found a home here. There have been a few comments about newbies not feeling welcomed here and that makes me sad.

Tessa is getting so big. I posted new photos in my "Who''s Who." I CANNOT believe she will be a year old in a month. It seriously makes me want to cry. I guess I am sad b/c she is getting bigger and not a baby anymore but also I am happy. We SURVIVED! Haha. Some days I wondered. She started walking (a little). She can only go 4 or so steps before she plops down. She also started to mimic us which is really cool. She has always been a "talker" but now we are hearing a few words. We can play games and she has a sense of humor. It''s pretty cool to watch her change and grow.

You should start a Canadian thread. There seems to be a lot of members from there. Where in Canada do you live? I have only met DiamondSeeker2006. We are planning another GTG so hopefully I will meet a few more. It is fun meeting in person *but* does feel a bit like a blind date

I watch it!!! and it is one of my fav shows; I don''t know anyone else who watches it, which is such a shame!!! Joanna Garcia is a great actress. I think the tention between her character and Will (billionaire neighbor) makes the show; I just hope it doesn''t go down hill once they get together.

The girl who plays Sage also seems to have a small part on this weird comedy show on showcase (do you guys have this channel in the US?) called Rent a goalie my FI watches it sometimes and I recognized her she plays a spoiled brat on that show too she seems to have that down pat LOL

Btfy, I kind of don''t remember but I think she was with Will at the end. There was MUCH more of a cat and mouse chase in the book plus she came to Fl with a boyfriend in the book, the book on the grandmother was secret and going to be unflattering and I honestly don''t remember her family living there (but they could have). My memory is not what it used to be post baby! Haha! In the start of the book the chief did a make-over on Megan and I thought it was so cute. He said the twins would not listen/care if they didn''t respect her (and they are shallow right?) I wonder why they didn''t do that on the show.

Okay, this bothers me but I don''t really think Megan has red hair but she calls herself a redhead. Little stuff like that bugs me. Haha.

Golden, you know it! I have to say I never watched Reba but she is VERY likable. I like the sous chef story line too. Kind of softens Sage a bit. I do think the story line about her mom is odd. I mean who would expect her to forgive someone who left them? Can''t wait to see Lily''s reaction. I hope they don''t cancel it either. They already pulled "dirty, sexy money" which we LOVE!

I heard if you DVR/TIVO shows it doesn''t show in the ratings. Is this true? We NEVER watch live TV. Seems like there should be a way to track that.

I am not one to ask about ratings and how they work- just the other day I told my boyfriend to turn off a radio station because I didn''t like what they were saying and he told me that wouldn''t change their ratings hahaha I also just asked about the tv ratings (we tivo everything) and he told me about nielsen ratings. google "nielsen ratings".
One of my fav shows is Lipstick Jungle and that is supposed to be getting cancelled as well!
I''m going to have to start watching Privileged live and if im not home, leave the tv on, just in case hahaha

Yep, I love 90210! I watched it religiously back in the "old days" so I was so excited when I heard they were bringing it back!! My husband thinks is ridiculous and refused to watch it with me, but what''s new. I do watch Real Houswives some. I don''t DVR it, just watch it when I catch it.

Privileged. It reminds me of Gilmore Girls which was woefully underrated. To be fully honest, I think that the WB, UPN, and now the CW have all had great shows that had they been on major networks would probably still be around today.
