Something must be wrong with me, but I do not watch a single reality TV show. . .in general I don''t watch much TV, so possibly that''s the reason I don''t watch those shows.

Seems like they''re addicting or something?

Anyone else avoid them?

I do not watch ANY TV.
None.
Nada.
Zip.

I''m a TV person and LOVE 2 reality shows...TOP CHEF and Project Runway. I did get pulled into the Real Housewives of NY just because I''m from NY and wanted to see how "we" were being portrayed.

I only watch one right now and its HELL''s Kitchen

I watch an embarrassing amount of reality TV. Top Chef like it''s my religion, and I used to watch Project Runway. Then it moved to Lifetime and became kinda staid and boring. I admire people who watch no reality tv and no tv - I would be a much more effective person without.

Ditto! I''d rather read, but that''s me.

It is addicting, stay away if you can!!

I hardly watched TV and absolutely NO reality tv until American Idol. Then it kind of dominoed. I was watching Project Runway, Dancing With the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, Top Chef, Top Model and Hell''s Kitchen. I never got into stuff like Survivor because I thought they were stupid. I''m trying to pull back the reins a bit because I''ve realized there is definitely a problem! However, I don''t think I''ll ever be able to stop watching SYTYCD or Top Chef. PR has slid since going to Lifetime (it is SOO the chanel for Women) and Hell''s Kitchen is the same yelling over and over.

The funny thing is, I really would rather read. But, once you flip it on, it sucks you in to all the crazy!

I haven''t watched any TV for the last ten years. My husband''s schedule is unpredictable, and by the time he gets home, we eat and I clean up, it''s usually 9 pm or later. I also decided not to watch TV years ago because the programming swung into reality shows from sitcoms.

My hub and I talked about watching just one show every week from now on, and we chose Grey''s Anatomy. In the beginning of the summer, I put all five seasons worth of episodes into my Netflix queue, and we''ve been enjoying finding out how each of the characters developed.

That will be it for us though. One show per week when the new season begins. Never reality television.

I''d really rather spend what little time we have at night reading (if he''s on the computer) or watching a movie together. We''re much more movie people than TV people.

I will not watch reality tv. I won''t even watch a game show. I won''t watch anything live either.... Maybe it''s a phobia thing. J/K. I pretty much only watch movies and HBO shows. Some days I don''t watch any tv at all, and I don''t even like it on "for the background sound" like my husband.

I'm a TV addict (comedies and dramas mostly), but I can't stand reality TV as a whole. Sometimes I'll catch a talent show like American Idol or America's Got Talent (aka "America's Done Got Summa Dat There Talent" - bonus points if you get the reference). But when it comes to shows like The Bachelor, Survivor, etc...count me out.

ETA: OH! I totally forgot about What Not to Wear, the saving grace of reality TV! I LOVE that show. The rest of reality TV can drop off the face of the earth as far as I'm concerned, but I'll keep Stacy and Clinton.

The reality TV I have seen is the junk food of TV. It actually disgusts me -that how strongly I feel.

Never seen a reality show yet, except the odd clip here and there by accident. Can''t think of anything worse!

Don''t watch much TV at all really, but I''m addicted to the news.

So I guess that makes at least a pair of us weirdos huh MC?

hate hate hate reality tv. I always think, "why in the heck would they willingly put themselves through that?'' I would rather read as well.

I once saw part of a Survivor episode many years ago I think - or maybe it was an ad. I think I remember torches.

Nope, nothing real there...02

Nope, not a single reality show. Can''t stand them, honestly.

I do not watch ANY TV.

Nor do I...unless there is a blizzard. My husband and I gave up television when our daughter was born in 1992. I did watch Yitzhak Rabin's funeral and some of the Clinton/Obama/McCain Presidential debates, however.

It depends what kind of reality TV it is. I watch HGTV all the time, and that''s full of reality shows. If you mean shows like Big Brother and other stupid competitive shows, I hate those. I do like American Idol though -- we just got into that one this past season.

I was just thinking HGTV and Food Network myself. Those are reality TV. As are talk shows. Funny that we have a negative connotation with "reality tv" when it has so many facets.

I have a policy of not watching anything that would cause my IQ to diminish. In essence, I watch very little TV.

I think So You Think You Can Dance is the only reality show I watch.

We have about 500 channels of nothing...so I watch..nothing. Who has time for TV when they have PS?

I really thought the reality tv craze would have passed by now. There are a few that I like (Amazing Race) but in general I don''t like reality tv.

*Raises hand*

I hate reality TV with a passion!

I don''t watch tv at all except for when I am at work and the tv happens to be on while I am eating lunch.
I have never been much of a tv fan to begin with but every once in a blue moon I will watch the food network or jeopardy.
I much prefer to read.

We''ve become political news junkies as a result of the last very long presidential campaign. That''s what I''d prefer to watch if I''m watching TV, either MSNBC or CNN. I love cable news. I sometimes leave it on to keep my dogs company when I''m out too.

Make that a trio of weirdos Gailey!

I watch American Idol, but that''s about it. I don''t particularly like most reality shows, and I really dislike the ones that seem like they''re just scripted drama pretending to be reality.

I have to say, that if I find out when the edition of Extreme Makeover that Treefrog participated in, I will make an exception, although I wouldn''t do it for just anyone!
