I'm looking for 4 pairs of white/offwhite curtains. I like grommet tops but don't reallllly care. These are pretty temporary. I'd like to spend as little as possible but I want them to be blackout and/or thermal. I've been finding prices all over the place and reviews alllll over the place so I'm wondering if anyone has purchased curtains recently online?... from where...? and how satisfied were you?

I've looked locally but I don't want to spend $100 a panel. :errrr:

I've bought some GREAT ones from West Elm. And budget friendly good ones from JC Penny. I also like Overstock, when the products have good reviews.

I second the j c Penney suggestion. Bought fantastic shades there for an unbelievable price ($17 per window). Look for deals and coupons.

I third Penney as a source. I bought 8 panels for around $100 for my guest room. They're not thermal or blackout but they darken the room just fine & are ok looking. These are temp curtains too.

I ditto the JC Penney suggestion. We got green velvet curtains for our girl's room and get lots of compliments on them.
the rest of the curtains we have are the Martha Stewart brand (they look like canvas) and one pair from Country Curtains (neither of these are blackout curtains though), and fabric roman shades from Home Depot.

I got some nice grommet tops from Target. The online store has longer curtains than in the store, btw - and more selection!
