Anyone been to Bonaire?!

I am leaving, rather unexpectedly, for 8 days to the tiny island of Bonaire. Anyone been? Ideas on what to do? It's known for diving--I am scuba certified but it's not my favorite activity. I plan on beaches, reading, and lounging... should I plan to see anything else?
