Anybody ever volunteered out country?

So I'm big on volunteering and helping my community on a regular basis and I was thinking about expanding and helping out an orphanage in Nepal and found this company: Institute of Field Research and Expedition. Does anybody have any first hand experience with them or other companies that work with helping children abroad??
