I have a friend who is selling Arbonne skincare products and sent me some samples. Anyone have any thoughts?

They are expensive for what they are, I think. They were too harsh for my dry skin, but I have friends who love the line.

My MIL used to sell arbonne. I like some of the stuff, but agree - I have very sensitive skin, and I didn''t do too well - but my hubs who is extra oily T-zone liked it a lot. He now uses the orange neutragena, and likes that.

HI:

I received two bars of bar as a gift--and it is wonderful quality. Not too sudsy, long lasting fragrance and the bars last forever!

cheers--Sharon

Paula Begoun (of Paula''s Choice) reviewed some of their products here. I really do trust what she says, she knows what she''s talking about!

I agree that they''re expensive. I once babysat for a woman''s children (well, I ended up babysitting because she asked me to "house sit" for a week and failed to mention that her children would be in the house that week) tried very hard to sell me Arbonne products. I''ll admit that I have a negative connection with the products because of the crazy woman who tried to sell them to me.

Use them you''ll love the results. Which products did your friend give you to try?

Which products were you given for your dry skin? The reason I ask is I have Rosacea and am extremely sensitive. Arbonne''s products calmed my skin down within 3 days, I also opened an account with them so I could purchase the products at a discount. That way they were less than the doctor''s office products and even less than some products at the department stores.

I''ve used Arbonne in the past (my cousin sells it), and I''ve liked the quality of the products. It''s all simply too expensive though. I''m also not crazy with the way it''s sold. I''m all for entrepreneurship, but not when products are forced down your throat.

I was given the NutriMinC RE hydrating wash and Day Creme SPF 8 and the night cream. I''ve been using all of it for about 3 days and I think my skin feels softer. I''m on the fence on whether I should go ahead and buy these products. Thanks for sharing all your experiences. I don''t want to open an account and have to sell these products.

I was invited to an Arbonne party once. The reason I would NEVER buy their products is that it would be awkward to return the creams if they didn''t work. How do you call a friend-of-a-friend and say, please give me my money back because this cream makes me break out or is too greasy?

I''d rather spend my money on Nordstrom or Sephora brands that if, don''t work, can easily be returned.

Anything that is sold via those little "parties" does not make me a fan.

The pumps always got clogged. I might have used the products, but I found that so frustrating that I just reached for something else.
