Not flaws in diamonds but flaws in you. What do you need to improve on?
Mine? Well I have many but a few are:

1) Public speaking
2) Bad posture
3) Sometimes being too judgmental

And I''m terrible at ironing.

NONE
9.gif

Hehe, if I listed them all you would either fall asleep or call me Damien. Right now I''m working on embracing them.

I''m anti-social, which leads to having too many cats and spending too much time at internet forums
9.gif

1.) PROCRASTINATION!--which leads to many times a day logging into PS when I ought to be studying, working etc...

1) Too demanding
2) Too forgiving when I should be standing my ground, and too unforgiving when I shouldn''t be! Bad combination
7.gif

3) Way too impatient
4) Short temper - I have all the patience in the world for puppies, not so much for people, lol

Ridiculously impatient. And I''m super energetic in the morning...I don''t consider that a flaw, but everyone I''ve ever lived with does
1.gif

Too nice- I sometimes let people walk all over me when I shouldn''t. I also think I do too much early on.. in friendships or relationships

Procrastinating- I wish I wouldn''t wait so long, but sometimes I can''t help it.

I am TERRIBLE with money!

Oooh too many. If I were a diamond, I''d be a hunk of frozen spit.

Ditto! LOL!

I''m a bit of a control freak who always likes to be right, and I''m very resistant to change (especially if I don''t have time to prepare for it).

Oh goodness. I could go on for hours.

I''ll go with the top 5!

1. I''m a doormat
2. I''m painfully shy and extremely anti-social
3. I can be really stubborn
4. I''m emotionally closed off
5. I''m more "reactive" than "proactive" meaning I wait until things are really bad before I deal with them.

I''m currently working on 1, 2 and 5. I''m too stubborn to change 3
3.gif
20.gif
, and I haven''t found anyone besides my FF who is worth changing number 4 for.

Maybe I''ll "open up" once I stop being so shy and learn to make friends!

i am *really* sensitive which can lead to me being a whipping post for others.

i also tend to fly off the handle quickly

Oh geez. The list is long and varied.
9.gif
The major ones...

1. Patience. I lack it in most situations. I'm incredibly patient with kids, the elderly, and small furry critters. Unfortunately most of the people I come into contact with don't belong to those categories.

2. Procrastination is my middle name.

3. I despise laundry and often let large piles of it accumulate before tackling it.

4. I'm with Brown.Eyed.Girl on this one, "Too forgiving when I should be standing my ground, and too unforgiving when I shouldn't be! Bad combination." I'm the same way.

5. My brain often sends signals directly to my mouth before running them through a filter...

But... my flaws make me who I am. How boring would it be if we were all the same!
9.gif

Oh, it''d be easier to list my virtues
9.gif

Ok, let''s see:

1) Self-centered - I try to remind myself that there are other people in this world and their needs are as valid and important as mine. Sometimes it works.
3.gif

2) Bossy - DH: "Woman, you''re off duty now, so stop trying to give orders!" lol
3) When I''m really angry, I can be extremely caustic and what is more, I can stay mad for days.
4) Way too stubborn.
5) Judgmental.

See, now I sound like a terrible person and that''s just off the top of my head.
3.gif

1. Speak out and to the point...alot of people doesn''t know how to take that, I have been called into my bosses office a couple of times for "attitude adjustments." I would rather that someone tell me where I stand with them than to hear from someone else that there''s been alot of chatter behind my back!
2. I forgive, but I have a harder time forgetting...
3. Hate, hate, hate... cleaning the house! I told my husband numerous times that I will work extra shift to get someone to clean.

1) I''m stubborn
2) I talk too much
3) I give too many 2nd chances

I hold grudges forevah

I''m judgmental but I''m usually right (I''m also arrogant lol). And because I''m usually right, I don''t even give the person a chance to prove me wrong.

I speak with my face so there''s no hiding my discontent. People have asked me so many times if I''m "angry or annoyed" which usually I am with them but I didn''t want them to know.

I''m extremely impatient. If you tell me that my table will be ready in 20 minutes, it better be ready in 20 minutes or I''m walking.

I have zero tolerance for people who don''t understand me and I make a very limited effort to try to explain myself.

I would have never pegged you as anti-social or shy Elle...not in a million years. And emotionally closed off? Certainly not here!
5.gif

Me:
1.) I hate public speaking, with a passion, and want to crawl into a hole and die whenever I have to do it--which is looking like it's going to be a lot this semester
39.gif

2.) Too damn nice
3.) Saving money (I spend like I have a trust fund...and I don't)
4.) Too rigid...need to loosen the reigns a bit, esp where my FI is concerned (he puts up with a lot)
5.) Working out. I fell off the wagon over the holidays and can't seem to get back on.
29.gif

I'm sure there's more. I'll add them as I remember...

1. I am very nonconfrontational...which leads me to take a lot and never say anything.
2. I am very sensitive...painfully so.

LOL. Yeah, it''s bad. I can''t remember the last time I made a new friend. I''m scared to talk to people! You guys on here know a LOT more about me than my IRL friends do. Once you get to know me, I''m definitely more "social" but not more open. The only person who knows the *real* me is FF. Bless his heart for putting up with me.

I hear you on 3 and 5! Saving money and working out are HARD for me, too! I think I make those 2 things my NY resolutions every year. Hasn''t stuck yet.

I''m way too emotional and I have this thing where I absolutely FREAK OUT when people are making annoying noises around me (like smacking gum or food, sucking their teeth, etc.). I''ve even gone to therapy hoping to find some relief but no luck. A friend chewing gum on a long car trip can actually completely ruin my night. Anyone else have this flaw? My fiance tells me to "get over it" but I can''t. Having someone chomp gum next to me literally puts me into panic attack mode and I start shaking all over.

i have a gum phobia. if my FI is chewing it i will not look at him...and if he tries to kiss me with it i turn my head. that scene in the movie ELF when he eats the already chewed gum makes me throw up. i, in all seriousness, have thrown up. now i just leave the room when that scene comes on.

I also have a problem with patience, and can''t stand it when people set appointments and don''t show up to them on time. I do private lessons with my dancers, and when I set a time to be there, that is the exact time we start. I''m usually even a little early. When I am scheduled to see a doctor at 9:50 AM and they walk through the FRONT DOOR TO THE BUILDING at 10:01 and I''m not even their first patient, I get absolutely infuriated.
29.gif
I am paying BIG BUCKS for them to waste my time.

Did I mention my flaws are that I''m irritable and impatient?

Other than that though I can be pretty nice.

Really? That makes me feel better that other people get grossed out by it too! Does the sound of it bother you or is it just the look of it? Luckily for me, my fiance actually chews with his mouth closed!

the sound of it, the smell, the look..all of it. it sends chills up my spine. my FI is a doll though and will no longer chew it in my presence.

Good to know I''m not alone! I''ve known lots of people who say they hate the sound but they really don''t. Not the way I do anyway.

I think my top two that I need to work on are that I tend to be

- too impatient
- too judgmental

I''m sure there are lots of others, but those are the two biggest I think...
