Is it safe to use whitening products like Crest Whitestrips or Aquafresh White Trays on new fillings? I just had a couple fillings replaced this week, and want to whiten, but I don''t want to ruin the new work.

It won''t affect your new fillings at all. They won''t get whiter nor will they be hurt. If the fillings are in the front teeth and were made to match the color, the teeth will bleach but the filling may not match anymore.

Thanks AprilBaby! They''re in the back teeth, so I wasn''t concerned about them not matching anymore. Just wanted to make sure I wouldn''t hurt them!
