Is anyone else bothered by random WF phone calls? Out of the blue this week, I got a phone call from a sales rep named Angela. I was confused and asked why she was calling (for one thing, I've never worked with her on any project or even sent an e-mail inquiry). I asked why she was calling and I said I wasn't planning on buying any diamond jewelry in the near future. She said that the phone call wasn't a sales call (yeah, right), that she was just calling to say hello and that they had a gift for me (???). I asked her not to call me anymore -- gift or no gift, I'm not interested.
18 months ago I bought a scattered band from them, which I ended up selling on DB because I lost a lot of weight and it was too big for me. Renee was my sales associate for that transaction. I spoke with Renee about a custom design I was considering over a year ago. Renee followed up with me a few times. Ultimately I decided not to go ahead with that project. That's it -- the sum total of my WF experience. I am not FB friends with them either.
The more I thought about this WF phone call the more irritated I became. I just don't want to be bugged, randomly, by a vendor. It felt invasive.
Has anyone else received these phone calls? Do you find them invasive?
