Not the list - just work!

Whooo! I leave for the beach in nine hours. We will be gone for eleven days. I am so ready to go. While I am fairly certain that there will be no "popping," I am really excited to get away. And as crazy as it sounds, I am sorta glad that it won''t happen during our vacation. I don''t have to worry about each moment being the moment, I get to just enjoy everything. Anyone else felt like that?

Hope you have fun! I''m the same way honestly, we''re planning on going on vacation over my winter break and my mindset is already "well I know he won''t do it then because the money for his share of the trip will dip into too much of the ring budget and instead push it back a few months more!"

Exactly! I know that he is buying an uber expensive bicycle in September. So I know that there is a tight budget. And with me paying for school out of pocket - money for the trip is tight. He is paying a little more than me (hello broke college student here!) but everything else we plan to half (dinners, groceries, etc...) This is the first year that I have offered to pay anything because I know that he is saving!

ETA- I just mentioned something to him (we work together too) and he said that I had to wait unitl I was in single digits on the list or eight years (which will be January)! Hey, at least he can laugh about it...But just in case, let's get that list moving!

Yep I had the same feeling when I knew it wouldn''t happen in NY. At least I could relax for the holiday without thinking he was about to propose everytime he bent down to tie his shoe lace or anything.
