I think an Amtrak train would be a great place for me to carry a Uzi. You too... (of course a H&K MP5 would work well too... but they are a lot more expensive).

I would not want to carry something a lot bigger on a train.

I note that I speak from experience as I have in the past ridden Amtrak to the east cost and back a number of times (not even sure how many). Out west twice, New Orlenes and back once (I have riddent "The City of New Orlenes" train that the song is about).

Of course, that would require them to recognize that people are responsible for their own security. Funny thing that they don''t. Considering that the US Supreme court has ruled that police departments and governemnt agencies are generally not required to provide personal security or even prevent crimes from happening - they are to solve crimes that have already been committed.

Oh, they would also have to change some other rail passanger requirements as well.

Yea that''s true but we can be trusted with full-auto.

Funny story...
One local swat team has had full blocked out on their mp5''s because in training they would not stop putting them on full-auto and spraying bullets all over the place.
It was a disaster waiting too happen.

That said rifle toting police pulling people out of line shouting "show me your papers please" which is what this will be should not happen in the US.
