Anyone watching? I am just riveted by some of these acts!! I've watched from the beginning, and always thought that the Earth Harp guy would win. I also love Andrew, the opera/ goth guy, and Turf. What do you all think?

I have been watching from the beginning as well.

I usually agree with who makes it through, but this past week I was very disappointed. I voted for Dittleman, Donovan and Rebecah, and Tom Cotter. I thought Turf was great at first, but it is always the same act. I also really liked the harp guy, but I think the more he adds to it the more cheesy it gets. Those singers were terrible.

I'm really bummed that the super strong man and woman didn't make it through. I was also surprised that the sand art guy made it through. It is an amazing act, but I thought America wasn't a fan of his. The Academy of Villains were pretty good, but really, how many times can you pay money to watch that act?

I agree with your thoughts on the Earth Harp guy... after watching last week's episode (I am behind and have DVR'd them) I do think it just gets cheesier and cheesier. His first performance was the best. Dittleman is AWESOME!! I would totally pay to go see him. Ditto on the sand art as well. It's neat, but not a million dollar act.

David Garabaldi and his CMTKs - the paint to music guy - was one of my favorites even before I knew he was a local boy. I love his act and I'd love to see more of it! However, I think Dittleman has the strongest act overall. His is the one I wouldn't mind watching for an hour or more.

I love Andrew De Leon's back story, and even without that his first performance moved me to tears. That said, I think at this point he's largely being carried byt the back story and the novelty of a man singing contralto. To me, he needs to do a lot more vocal work to be more than a novelty act. I think he could do it, but not in the timeframe of this show. (Which is not to say he might not win this show - that's a whole nuther story!)

There's definitely a lot of talent (and hard work) on that stage, and I hope a lot of the acts get some exposure and great opportunities out of this.

By the way I had a chance to see last year's winner, Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr., at the State Fair this year. I liked the guy last year and wish him all the best, but I didn't think what I saw was worthy of a big stage. Medium stage, maybe. I guess the AGT winners are left largely to their own devices (or the devices of whoever they sign on with) once they've had their big Vegas moment.

Yeah that paint to music act is incredible! One of the best acts on the show. Its almost to the point where I cant vote anymore because I like more than one act.

The opera guy has a great voice and I think America got goose bumps the first time he sang, but opera isn't a huge show. I really don't even know anyone who appreciates opera to the point of choosing to listen to it. Without that story he wouldn't have made it this far in my opinion. Also, I don't know if you guys saw it( you may fast forward on your DVR through all the fluff like I do)but there was about 3 frames last week that showed him without all the nonsense all over his face and no weird contacts and he looks so much better and would be taken more seriously just like Sharon said.

With what I have seen so far I am up in arms about Tom Cotter, I just love that guy, he is so freaking funny and dry and hardly smiles and he is humble! and Dittleman! I don't know how he does it, nor do I care. DH tries to figure it out every week and of course he cant.

I have to say I'm surprised with the outcome! That said, there was only one act in the finals that I didn't care for - and they were the first to leave! :wink2:

I can say that I am happy with the winner. I really wanted David Garabaldi to win, but those dogs are super cool!!
