If you are a multiple ring owner do you tend to gravitate toward similar designs for your pieces, or do you like to have your pieces each have a very different personality and style?

*points down* All different, although some alike-ness is hard to avoid.

I was just thinking about this! I have issues... I pick the same colors/types of stones ALL the time. My name is Burberrygirl and I'm addicted to cabs and green, the green part is super weird too because I never wear green clothes--maybe I've been surrounded by too many trees for too long... So I just bought a pair of green cabs, lol!

ETA: I think I like the idea of having very different pieces but it never seems to work out that way. I tend to go for the same styles, maybe I'll change it up with my stack ring project.

I like them to be all different. Example, I was thinking about resetting my pear in an LOGR halo setting, but I am also thinking about resetting my round in a halo, so I am not sure which way to go.

I have a few different rings and RHRs and all of them are different in some way.

I don''t have multiple rings, but the projects I have in my head are all pretty similar I think. They all have the same "feel" to them.

I don''t have ''multiple'' rings but the ones I have are all different - I am not a fan of redundancy. There are so many different types to have, I''d get one of each before a duplicate.

Kismet - do you have a closeup (link?) to the aqua stone in the middle? It''s hard to see the details but from what I can, I think I''m in love :)

Hmmmmmmmm ... I'd say I'm in the middle. While I don't have an endless supply of antiquey bezeled rings, I'll admit that vintage detailing and bezels or fishtail prongs are elements that always, always catch my eye. I like to think that I'm the exception to Emerson's rule about a foolish consistency being the hobgoblin of little minds ... well, that or that my consistency isn't foolish.

Hrmmm..I guess you could say all of my settings are pretty different..
although bezels are becoming an increasingly dominant feature

I don''t think I ever set out to have something with a different style etc, it seems to just generate organically either from the gem I''m setting (my sapphire), or a setting I have been lusting after (eg. JM).

Sure, that''s my vanadium chrysoberyl. More pics can be found here.

I have some serious repetitiveness among my collection. Five LOGR Legacy halos. Not sure how many other halos. Bezel set asschers. Cushions are overwhelming majority of my coloured collection. Three stones with baguettes or emerald cuts. Three pave split shanks.

I do this with clothes, as well, so it's not too surprising.

Here's a picture of everything minus my JKT grossular garnet bezel set asscher.
