I know there are always questions about what accessories to have with a specific dress. And I''m in the population that has no idea what to do at all.

This is my dress:

So first of all, this dress is so much more girly than I''m used to, but I absolutely fell in love with it - organza pickups and crystal and tulle detailing. Over the weekend I tried on the dress with 6-7 different styles of necklaces (silly me didn''t think to try it on with different earrings, oh well) and I for sure want my jewelry to be of the crystal kind - pearls just looked too heavy with the other delicate details of the dress.

I can''t decide if I want elegant ''bling'' chandelier earrings and no necklace or smaller earrings and a necklace. Also I was wondering if blue crystals in the jewelry would be too overbearing (the BMs are in blue).

I''m not sure if it''s a factor, but I also can''t decide either if I''m going to go with a flowy chignon (as opposed to slicked back) or a loose half-up/half-down (attached pic).

Any suggestions for jewelry and/or hairstyles would be greatly appreciated!

Here is my $0.02....

With that dress I would go for more ornate earrings (chandelier) and a simple simple necklace (like a solitaire pendant or something) or no necklace at all. Your dress has a lot of detailing on the top and that gorgeous voluminous skirt that I don''t think you need a whole heck of a lot of accessories. If you want to incorporate "something blue" into your accessories why not use a hair clip with some blue accents in it? Or a bracelet.

I like the way the model''s hair is styled in that picture so my guess would be for the half up-half down look you showed in the attached photo. Then again, some brides are more comfortable with their hair all up. I personally am a huge fidget and endlessly play with my hair so I will probably do something up, but not slicked back. If you are a fidget like me you might want to consider putting it all up in a chignon.

Love the dress by the way! The organza is really beautiful.

hi- your dress is beautiful!!! I also have a sweetheart neckline and have heard that a drop necklace is best...I actualyl found a really pretty set at Macys a week back - I am doing CZs and pearls....

I would say to check out the internet as well - there is a designer (thinik it is called cheline) on Amazon that has really beautiful fun pieces....all in its easier to find the CZ /Crystal styles.

go with whatever catches your eye and you love...dont worry about what other people are going to think!!! :)

Thank you so much already for your insight (and your compliments!) I am leaning towards earrings (with minimal or no necklace) and hadn''t even thought of a bracelet - that''s a fantastic idea! I will definitely have to check out Macys, and there is a swarovski retailer around me that I was going to scope out as well. I rarely spend a lot on jewelry, and I do want to treat myself to something nice, I am so worried I''m going to be indecisive and second guess myself..I guess it''s better than second-guessing my dress of my FH! :-D

If anyone has any veil suggestions I''d be greated appreciative as well! (I figured it wasn''t worth starting a whole new topic!) I don''t know if I want one tier or two (ie the second tier would be the blusher and then flip back), what would be a good length, or what embellishments (if any) it should have!
