Ability to use widgets when composing forum response on iPhone?

When I try to compose a response to a post on my iPhone the formatting widgets at the top of the response window like “bold”, add a photo” or “add an emoji” just don’t work. I click them and nothing happens. The Attach Files button below the response window does work.

Is this just a me problem or is this happening for others?

I switch this format button and then that problem is resolved. Mostly it seems to work.
