Wedding A ponderance on shoes.

Ok. My wedding is forever and a day away but I am thinking of shoes. I always thought that I wanted vivid green satin shoes.

They DO NOT exist. Anywhere.

Then I got to thinking. My dress is an almost butter champagne color. Would vibrant green shoes look terrible? Should I start looking for brown satin instead? Or perhaps bronze?

What i''m looking for is a peep toe, satin shoe. Preferably less than 3 inches (i''m fairly tall). The shoe needs to be elegant but with some umph to it. I really like the manolo sedarbys that everyone has. *Drool*

Thanks for all the great replies. Shoe size is 8 and there isn''t really a budget right now. Maybe around six hundred or less. I really need a shoe with a closed heel. Something about my feet just slide right out of slingbacks etc. and i''m looking for a kelly green if you need a reference for shade.

I''ve really got a thing for bronze colored shoes right now, and they would be easier to wear again if you did something other than white.

My vote is for bronze, they would make a really great picture for your photographer. Brown are pretty too but wouldn''t be nearly as cool in a picture.

I wore green shoes for my wedding! I purchased some at Jcrew (http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Browse/WomenBrowse/Women_Shop_By_Category/shoes/heels/PRDOVR~90737/90737.jsp) but in the brighter green they had for summer. I ended up returning them for some Nine Wests that were half the price and very similar in color and style.

I think the right green would look very nice with your dress
