Hey everyone! I thought I'd introduce myself, since I'm probably gonna be spending a bit more time here than I have previously.
I've been hanging around here ever since Audball got me into this (we're actually friends in real life), and it's been fun! I kind of disappeared around graduation time, but now it's summer and I'm back! More importantly, I'm back because I'm quite certain that the BF is gonna propose this summer sometime... I'm SO stinkin' excited, and ready to get this show on the road!! We have been happily together for about 2 and a half years now, and we're heading down similar paths in life... and now I'm done with my undergrad degree, he is about to get his "real" job... and oh yeah, there's only so much longer we can live apart from each other without going nuts, if you catch my drift!!
At first, he was the one who was ready to take the plunge while I had a case of cold feet... but now we're both on the same page with it all.
As far as the ring goes, I started out just trying to "point him in the right direction," but as things unfold, I seem to be designing the exact ring. Not what I planned on happening, but oh well, I'm having fun! Hehe. the ring I'm looking for is... shall we say... understated. Haha. In fact, I'm not sure I even want a diamond at all. Audball and I have been emailing some vendors (it's been mostly her to be honest, she's like a little ring detective and she knows WAY more about this than me!), and hopefully I'll make a final choice soon so I can show you all! It will be a very simple ring, but that suits me quite well.
What else do people put in these things?? Anything?? I sure don't know. But anyway, that's me... not 100% "new," but I guess the intro is better late than never!!
