Well the week leading up to the wedding, there was a chance of rain on Saturday. The wedding was outside, and we didn't really have a back up plan. There was an 80% chance of rain! We were so nervous, but it turned out gorgeous! The sun even came out. It did rain later that afternoon (we got married at 10:30), so it was perfect timing. Everything went pretty well with only a few minor things that went wrong.
- They didn't set up enough chairs (and after the whole fiasco with the chair situation, we were going to have those chairs!) I complained until they set more up... 20 minutes before the ceremony started and guests were already seated.
-DH made the specific request for no chocolate cake. Boy, we were surprised when we cut into his cake to find.. chocolate cake!
-I said I didn't want fondant anywhere on my cake. Of course, it was covered in it.
There were a few other snags, but all went well and I couldn't be happier!
We got tons on compliments on the small things that personalized the wedding, especially our music.
I would also like to thank marchswallowbird and katamari for suggesting the San Juan Islands for our honeymoon. That's where we ended up going and it was amazing! We stayed in a cottage on Orcas Island.
Now for the pics!
