Wedding $90 for a bm sash

Just wanted to share something crazy with you! I called the bridal shop yesterday to see if it would be possible to get an extra silk shantung sash in ivory that my MOH could wear with her slate blue dress to be a little different than the rest of the bridesmaids. Well, they called Jim Hjelm and they wanted $90 for an extra sash.... The dresses were only $210!!! I am not sure how that is possible but needless to say we will be going to the fabric store to buy some material... Guess we should all guard our sashes well.

For a wedding I was a bridesmaid in last summer, our silk shantung sashes were $70+ from Lynn Lugo.

Apparently I need to change careers and go into the sash business!!

I saw ready made bridal sashes at Joanne''s for ( I believe ) around $20.00 each.

You can use a 40% off coupon too..
