Something tells me that diamond finger nails and diaper changing are not a good mix...I'll have to pass on this manicure (atleast until my youngest is potty trained)

Wouldn't those wear down your nail file?

LOL Kenny - very true, but you could probably sharpen your nail clippers with those tips!

I hate to admit it, but I kinda like the way those look! :errrr:

Totally impractical, but it's gorgeous. Imagine how much they would sparkle!

I'm a scrub nurse so even having nail poilsh is a no-no, but... I LOOOOOVE those, stci!

Absolutely gorgeous, but I think I'll stick to diamond jewelry.

How sick would you feel if you looked down at your hand and all the sparkies had popped off? Pretty, hardly practical. Who the
heck has that kind of money to throw around? And if you had it, would you want to?

Exactly! Nails are not meant to have diamonds on the ends but then I'm not sure that fingers are made to sport diamond rings either! However, I guess diamonds are mined from the earth for us to enjoy so whatever form we come up with to enjoy them is up to us!

so my question is...how much do you tip for a 50,000 manicure and can you get a matching g pedicure? :?

That seems ridiculously overpriced to me.

Let's assume that 2pt diamonds are used (1.8mm diameter, since there seems to be at least 2 rows of diamonds on each nail). They cost around $500 per carat, totaling $5,000 for diamonds.

For labor, let's assume it takes 10 hours to apply by a skilled person at $100 an hour. So we have $1,000 for labor. That is $6,000 total cost.

100% markup as profit, overhead, etc, takes our total up to $12,000.

I understand Lady but I have to say after they will make a jewel of your choice with the diamond. This is important to know and I neglected to tell this. Sorry...

That is assuming you have any left on your nails!. Everytime I have had little synthetic stones on my nail they have come off.
