Wow it''s almost September! So here''s this week''s question to start with: Did you stay on track goal-wise last week? If so, what did you do? If not, why not? :)

My answer is I kind of did. I went to the gym! Yaay! But this weekend I got really busy, so I didn''t get much time to work out. I am helping the new transfer students out at my school, so I had a bunch of events and well got lazy afterwards. Anyway, I hope everyone had a great weekend and Happy Monday!

hi. last week I hit an ultimate low for my weight. I wasn''t able to keep it at that, but I''m keeping it down so that''s good. I have no problem staying on track with my ab and arm training. I do it every Sunday, Tues and Thurs. yesterday I added a kg to my weights and my arms were so sore today! I also didn''t go to work today as I felt really nauseous this morning. not sure if I was nauseous in real life or just due to a really gross dream I was having (in my dream I was actually standing over the toilet throwing up).

right now I am making muffins for FI to take to work. I have the smallest little combi-oven and was trying to bake 6 on top of the other 6, but the 6 on top kept moving around (they are in a silicone type muffin holder) so I had to take them out mid-way. i was afraid they wouldn''t raise again when I put them back in, but they seem to have. so at least his colleagues aren''t going to wonder why they are eating dented muffins.

Yaaay I am glad you finally had results that made you feel good!! I think I want to steal your gym program. I gained weight when I went home, so I am back to the start. Well not completely, but a bit closer. Sigh. I am wondering if I can get FI to go to the pool or gym tonight. We will see I suppose! I am so hungry because I managed to sleep through breakfast and lunch. I don''t feel very well. Well, back to school this week for me! So I have to get ready.

Hi ladies! Mmmm.. muffins sound really tasty!

I was really bad with my workouts last week. I only did one very half a$$''d one. But this week, I"m hoping to get more in. FI and I are going to try to swim in the Lake on Thursday. But the goal this week is another quick run today, a bike ride (ambitous: BRICK) tomorrow, swimming on Thursday and then we leave for my cousin''s wedding. I''m hoping to do some more swimming in PA, they''re on a river or something.

I think I''ve reversed in my weight loss progress. Sad

I can''t say for sure because I don''t have a scale, but I sure feel like I did. But the upside is I can motivate myself to go on runs etc since I''ve gotten used to them by now.
 
common gals! let''s not let all the hard work go to waste. well, I better hear that you did some swimming and running this week!

this morning I reached another record low on the scale. only 0.1 kg less than last week, but it is still a record.

a very nice friend today said she could see I lost weight in my chin (which made me start wondering if I had a double chin or something I hadn''t noticed). she will be in my good books forever. FI agreed that he could see it, too. think he''s trying to stay in my good books, too, hehe.

I got into a fight with a horribly nasty woman yesterday. nothing physical just words; she was a rude driver. I was so angry at her, so when I was doing my ab workouts I was pretending it was like voodoo and my ab burns and pains were projected on her, wherever she was. made me feel good!
 
Hi girls! Sorry I''ve been AWOL. I started classes this week so I''ve been crazy busy. I hadn''t slept in 2 days essentially..and I finally started to sleep last night when it started storming and the power went out and I woke up.

Sarah! you need to get some sleep. you need rest in order to exercise and study and just plain exist and it's just not healthy not to sleep.

my good news is that this morning I was still at yesterday's record low weight.

to treat myself for all my hardwork I'm going to IKEA for Swedish meatballs tomorrow. yum!
 
Noel did you get those meatballs? Are you talking about the IKEA furniture store? I didn''t know they sold meatballs! I probably sound really ignorant..lol..but I haven''t actually been in an IKEA before. The closest ones are a few hrs away.. I love the website though!

yes, the one and only IKEA. they have a cafeteria and are known for their Swedish meatballs. they''ve got a wonderful gravy and they give you some lindenberry sauce (little like cranberry). it was SO good. really happy I treated myself.

yesterday I went to a hair store and bought 2 wigs (didn''t know they were so cheap!). I have really fine hair and not a lot of it, so getting tired of seeing my scalp and not being able to ever have any cool hair dos. I really love them, but can''t bring up the courage to wear them to work. not that they look weird - they look great. just that it''s so obvious and people have mixed feelings about wigs. however, I am now keeping the wig idea in mind for my wedding day. just don''t know if you can do an up do on a wig.

today it''s lovely summer weather so FI and I will bike into town where I''ll book an appointment for a manicure and we''ll get some smoothies.
 
Hi ladies! I know I don''t post in the weight loss thread ever, but I have been trying to lose weight and hit the gym more often - with mixed results... Anyway, I came across the Hundred Push Ups Challenge online (hundredpushups.com) and, since my dress is strapless and I want to tone my arms, I thought I''d give it a try.

Anyone done it before? It looks really good if I can stick to it. . .
