The 2011 Academy Awards Show is Sunday, February 27
We have high hopes for magnificent jewels at the 2011 Academy Awards. With Annette Bening, Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lawrence, Natalie Portman, and Michelle Williams nominated for Best Actress, the Red Carpet is sure to delight with the most luxurious adornment from top jewelry houses. The 2011 Golden Globes and SAG Awards featured some bolder baubles, but many celebs played it a bit safe. We hope to see some bold Hollywood grandeur at the 83rd Academy Awards Show. From Reuters: “We’re going to see statement pieces,” said Greg Kwiat of Kwiat Diamonds. “A bracelet, a necklace. There will be everything from classic diamonds to lots of colors like yellow gold or aquamarine,” Kwiat said. Stay tuned – post-Oscar bling analysis coming soon.
