Different platinum alloys | PriceScope Forum

I heard some places manufacture certain blends of platinum. Here is what I have learned: Anyone considering a platinum ring should be sure to ask for a quote in 95% Platinum / 5% Ruthenium (it is the same blend that Tiffany & Company uses) as this blend probably has the ideal mix of attributes with regard to hardness and scratch resistance.

Having read many wondeful reviews about ERD, I contacted Mark and scheduled an appointment; the rest is history.

Best bang for my buck. Is buying online worth all the hype ...

Re: Best bang for my buck. Is buying online worth all the hy Their warranties are really worthless, because you still have to have insurance on the ring to cover you for accidental loss, theft, or damage to the diamond. So I would take that out of the equation. You still need an insurance rider or jewelry insurance policy on the ring.
