Would you buy a diamond from Overstock.com? - PriceScope

The second reason is the SI1 clarity. Since the emerald cut (EC) diamond is a step cut diamond, the the steps have to be really clean with no visible inclusions to make the diamond "eye clean." SI1 diamonds usually have visible inclusions that would hinder the clean lines of the EC.

I also lost a diamond out of a setting (lucky here because I found it on the floor of a warehouse I used to clean). Did I mention I never play lotto or gamble? I previously had my jewelry on my homeowners but I when my husband lost (and found) his wedding ring I found out that putting a claim in would raise my rates and jeopardize a renewal.

Where are the reviews from experts on Lightbox ...

I was so sure that once Lightbox launched there would be a whole ton of reviews from experts in the diamond field buying a Lightbox diamond and examining it and basically doing an appraisal. I’m thinking that if the cut was bad it would be all over in reviews. My take is that they must be pretty good because we hear crickets.

My experiences from buying a diamond on 47th street in NYC

I choose a Lucida style setting with a round diamond: (tiffany lucida). I added two some small diamonds (0.08 C) that I had emburnished in the setting close to the big diamond to make the setting a little more unique. The diamond is 1.33 C, D color, SI1 clarity and cost $8100 not including tax. The cut is on the AGS scale a 1.

QVC''s Affinity Diamond jewelry | PriceScope Forum

Has anyone had any luck with QVC''s Affinity Diamond jewelry? They''re lower quality for sure, because they provide no info on diamond quality, but I wonder whether they still have sparkle and look good. There are a lot of old posts from a few years ago asking the same question, but noone really knew anything. Any help out there?

Insurance - Anyone Have Any Experience With GemShield ...

They only provide coverage after a stone has been set and the piece of jewelry has been appraised. I did ask why and they said it''s because the chances of something happening to loose diamonds before being set are higher and most insurers don''t want to accept risk until the stone is set. Anway, please let me know what you think.

I'm a real customer, who has been ripped off I wired $11,430, and no diamond, no reply. I am hoping to connect with recent shoppers from Enchanted Diamonds to see if their experience has been one of fraud - such as has been claimed by the "Rocky Talky" forum.

USAA Insurance Claim Experience | PriceScope Forum

It was option #2 that worried me. I did not feel comfortable USAA finding a similar stone for me because I would not have had the opportunity to review the specs/certificate until the stone is selected and shipped to me. As for option #2, the replacement value is not the same as the amount that the ring (or the diamond) was insured for.

Kay Jewelers vs. Walmart Jewelry question? | PriceScope Forum

It's really hard to make a comparison like this. 1. They may or may not be the same quality. Neither is certified by any lab so it's difficult to say whether Kay's subjectively determined HIJ/I2-I3 is better or worse than Walmart's subjectively determined HIJ/I2-I3.
