My 2.51 E VS1 upgrade in a Leon setting is here!!!

Hi everyone,

I''ve been dreaming of this moment for weeks!! I can''t stop taking my eyes off my new ring. Thank you all for helping me get through this process. So here''s a little background info...

My original stone was a RB 1.56 D VS1 H&A in a 6 prong tiffany-style setting. I wanted to keep the D VS1 so my budget allowed for a 2.25 ct stone. But after getting some of your feedback and warnings about DSS, I became more open-minded about compromising the color and/or clarity for a larger size. And now that I have my ring, I''m sure glad I did cuz I think DSS is sinking in already!!

I ended up with a 2.51 E VS1 H&A with a incredible cut! And it''s in a Leon setting to boot! So here are some pictures.

Thanks everyone for sharing in my excitement!!!

The shank is 1.6mm. I was worried at first that it might be too thin but after seeing the finished product, I love it. I also had a matching band made. Will take pics of it when I get a chance.

Leon was a major sweetheart and did this for me in under 3 weeks. I live in HK right now and was home in NY for 3 weeks and wasn''t sure I was going to be able to pull it off timing-wise so you can imagine my relief and delight when things worked out. I think the fact that it''s a relatively simple design helped too.
