Just keep in mind that aquamarine is much softer than sapphire. Aqua is around 7.5-8 on the Mohs scale while sapphire is 9 (diamond is 10), therefore aqua would need to be babied quite a bit more to avoid damage.Date: 11/27/2008 11:47:47 PM

now I''m thinking a delicious light colored aquamarine. I think I would wear it more with a lighter colored stone.
