I can't say definitively but my guess is no. It's pretty thin already so even if some of the metal gets shaved off, it wouldn't be enough to increase the size significantly. What is your ring size?

I am about a 5 1/2 around the finger, but need 5 7/8 in a thin band to clear my knuckle. That is why most of my rings are size six, but a do have a couple of very thin ones that are slightly smaller.

Hmmm, that's very close. My bands range from 5-1/2 to 6 and they all somehow fit. And each one varies a little even if they're the same stated size. Wondering if you can somehow try this on. You wouldn't happen to be in NY or NJ would you?

What cut are the diamonds in this band? It's hard to tell from the pictures. Are they princess cuts?

The diamonds are square and the pink sapphires are baguettes. Hope that helps!

Are they square step cuts (carre cuts)? Square brilliant cuts (princess)? Or French cuts? I'm not in the market for this ring, but I have long admired it and hope it goes to a good home! Anyway, if I were in the market, I would want to know exactly what kind of diamonds I'd be getting!

To be honest, I don't know. It was pretty and I bought it But good point, I'll take a look at it when I get back home at the end of the summer and see if I can tell. Thanks!

And would like to add that in response to urseberry's question, Leon can't say with 100% certainty just by looking at the photos but thinks they're French cut diamonds.
