Shoes Sizing
M has a pair of Stride Rite Soft Motion Kit in size 5. It feels like it's getting too small for her; there's no more room in the front when I feel for her toes. I also got her a pair of SRT Carly in size 6 at the same time since it was buy one get one 1/2 off. I tried those on her, but they seem too big. There's enough space in the back to fit my finger, and it just looks like she is wearing someone's else shoes. Should put her in the size 6? Or should I find another shoes that isn't as big?

ETA - I just realize that they make half sizes for the Carly, so I am going to exchange for a pair in size 5.5.

tacori- i got the backpack at potterybarnkids too. Jake''s actually started to come apart at the seem and I called them and even though his is inscribed they still sent me a new one and paid for the shipping of the other one back. they have the best customer service! My oldest has the large size backpack and it''s huge, perfect for her but way too big for a preschooler. I think the small size, not the preschool would be best if you are wanting to get something that will last a few years. the preschool one is really small, not much bigger than Jake''s lunch box actually.

puffy-Jake still cried when I dropped him off but they said he does great once I''m gone. He ate a good lunch and was able to nap there so that is a good thing. I love having a few hours all to myself guiltfree!

lili- sorry J didn''t like the yogurts. maybe they are just too sweet??

qt-it is fun seeing him really start to not only understand but being able to talk a little bit.

Jakes new thing, he loves to help me unload the dishes. my hubby got a video of him doing it the other morning. he will take a plate out of the dishwasher and hand it to me so I can put it away. it''s hilarious. I also make him clean up his spills when he lets his sippy cup fall on it''s side and it drips. I hand him a towel and he wipes it up. now if I can teach him to clean the bathrooms I''d be all set

QT--
You don''t look like you gained 11 lbs (which is very little for more than half way there).
You look so cute. Maybe it''s the angle of the picture? But it looks like you had a growth spurt this week:)
So, is the Dr going to do another ultrasound for you?

Bobo--
Haha, maybe J''s daddy is smart to sleep in another bed :D
Yeah, same here, J''s bed is more a cushion just in case she falls.
Lately, she''s been using it to cushion her fall as she slides and fall backward from the big bed
14.gif

Sorry to hear that little B is still not eating much solid.
Are you guys seeing a specialist for that?
Oh no...hope the bum is nothing serious.
Poor little guy, he''s one tough kid for sure.

Tacori--
Haha, T is the jealous type huh?
Uh no...better get working on the second now before she gets older and understands more

Puffy--
Haha, had to laugh at your comment about dressing up at 30+wk preggo because it reminded me of the picture that my SIL sent us for halloween. Let me tell you, nothing more hilarious than seeing a picture of a very pregnant nun. She was 35 wks preggo then :D
I spoke too soon about J, she got a little cold
8.gif

Hope she can kick it quick like last time.
Even w/ the cold....she still wanted to go to the pool.

MrsS--
Oo....gotta go and see if you post that video of Jake helping out on FB! (you must)
Hey, how is it that the little boys here are much more a mother''s little helper and neat than the little girls.
My J can only make mess! She''ll clean it up only to see it get messed up again

I don''t know why the boys seem to be such good helpers. I must say my girls do a pretty good job most of the time and always help lend a hand when asked. My oldest is a neat freak already but Lily does not mind being in the middle of a mess. she rides in a back of our van and it''s always trashed back there with wrappers, tissues etc. I even give them their own little plastic bags to throw trash in and somehow stuff still gets all over. I clean my car out once a week and am always amazed at the mess that can be made in such short periods of time.

thanks Tacori & puffy.

lili, the pedi is still focusing his eating with his thyroid so we will do another blood draw two months later and go from there.

I''ve been doing some reasearch on line and it looks like the lump on little B might be a inguinal hernia. Will take him into urgent care tomorrow instead of waiting until next week.

bobo, I hope little B is okay! Please keep us posted!

jas12, can''t wait to find out if you are pregnant! Sending you lots of baby dust!

puffy, yay for disneyland! I''m sure you''ll all have a lot of fun!

MrsS, love the clip of Jake! So cute!

janine, ouch! Sorry, I''ve only seen the big foam covers.

LIA, forgot to answer you about being nervous about possible bedrest with #2. Like you, I''m trying not to think about it because with a toddler I don''t know what I''ll do! But if I have to deal with it again then there''s nothing I can do about it. Still won''t stop me for going for #2. Hopefully both of us won''t have to deal with that ever again!

Burk, there''s an amusement park nearby that''s ideal for families with young children that we plan to visit by the end of this year. I have a free pass and I can''t wait to go. We''re just waiting for D to be a bit older so it''ll be more fun for him.

D''s birthday party is next weekend. I can''t believe in less than a week I''ll have a ONE year old!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

mrsS that''s great that jake is doing well at school. i hear ya on having some time to yourself. since 2 weeks ago, my mom takes B for almost the whole day so i can have some ME time before baby gets here. it''s been so nice. i pack B a little backpack to take with him and when he sees the backpack, he puts it on, and sits and waits for grandma. it''s pretty cute. and how great that jake is so helpful around the house!! B still loves to help me out around the house so hopefully it is not a phase!!

lili poor J!! i hope she kicks this cold as quickly as the last one! but i am sure that is just like J to want to go to the pool being sick. if i did dress up, it would be as winnie the pooh (again). and it would be prefect since we are going to disneyland, but i just can''t seem to convince DH to dress up as tigger. oh well.

bobo how is little B? that poor guy has been through so much recently, i feel so bad for you guys. keep us posted please.

snlee wow!!! that was a quick year huh? which park are you guys going to take D to? there are so many fun ones around here, i''m sure he will have a great time!

bobo: keep us posted, hope he is a-ok and you get to the bottom of this...

snlee: C''s bday is this weekend too! Our babies are so close in age. I bought a party dress for C, wonder how long that''ll stay on! We''re having it at our house and mostly family (booo, not that many babies can come), so there''s so much I need to get done! Are you buying D anythign special? I might buy C a winter coat (practical) and then a big doggie stuffed pet that can go in her playroom (she lovvvves anything doggie or super soft). Can''t believe I''ll have a 1 year old soon too..i keep saying she''s 11 months (clinging onto each day). Are you TTC''ing # 2 soon? Eek,not me!

thanks everyone for thoughts on baby-proofing. Our family room is fine, but in her own room she manages to shut drawers on her fingers and also took a spill while holding onto her book case and hit the side of her head on the sharp portion. I just thought there might be some felt sticky product for these kinds of things...the big foam ones everywhere would be overkill. Or maybe she''ll stop taking spills (right!!)

Hi gals - I am HAPPY to be back!!!

Lots going on here...happy to see a couple of the MIA moms (Jen and misspinky!) Seems like the rest of you are doing ducky with lunchboxes and potty training and crazy MILs saying you''re getting to preggers-big when you''re probably less preggo than my non preggo self!

I''m still jetlagged and back at my first day of work. I could sleep for days. But had to drop in and say hi - AND that I''m calling the carpet cleaners this week!

Thanks ladies for all your thoughts! Turn out it''s a lymph nodes that swell up due to the vaccine he received last week. Because the location of the lump we all thought it was a hernia. *phew*

Glad it''s not a hernia. My lump nodes get swollen whenever I get sick. When I first noticed them in high school, I went to see a specialist and just turned out to be swollen lump nodes.

Hi mommies!! Busy weekend with the volleyball tourney. We did well and actually won our division on Saturday. This week will be crazy since DH is out of town, I have parent-teacher conferences, and a vb game on Thursday. I''m sure it''ll all be fine. Oh, and T''s allergies have been horrible the past few days. Poor thing asks to blow her nose constantly. I just hope her asthma doesn''t get bad....fingers crossed. Gonna try and catch up with everyone now.....

Tacori~I bought an inexpensive leather protector at Famous Footwear last year and have used it for my shoes and T''s and it''s worked great. So funny that your T still calls your DH by his first name.

puffy~Thanks! So funny about calling your Dh "hey." I''ve never been to Disneyland.
7.gif
We plan to take T sometime.

lili~We will probably break ground right around when I deliver, yes. Won''t matter much since our decisions are all pretty much made so it''ll just be the builders doing their thing. Thanks for the nice words about my bump. I, of course, feel huge. I will have to post a comparison shot for one of my upcoming belly pics.

QT~Thanks! T does like my vb games....she''s a lot to handle, though. Luckily there are a bunch of of my vb moms that fight over her so DH gets some help.
9.gif

snlee~That sounds like so much fun!! I can''t believe D will be one!! Time flies.

Bobo~So glad all is well with B!!

Tgal~Hey there! Good to *see* you around these parts.

bobo- I was going to suggest lymph node--I had a friend whose son had one on his neck and had it drained. It was fairly easy, but did involve a hospital stay since his was really large. Glad it''s not something more serious!

bobo so glad that little B is a-ok!!! it must be such a big relief.

tgal welcome back!!!

janine wow, C''s going to be 1 also?!?! hope you guys have a wonderful time at her bday party!

burk poor T and her allergies. i know mine are getting pretty bad right now too and it sucks big time. Congrats on the v-ball win! you are going to love disneyland!!! i know i do. when DH and i got married, he agreed that he would go with me at least once a year. haha. now since we have B, he actually really enjoys it cause B loves it as well. i am sure T will have a blast there as well. will you guys wait until baby is older to all go as a family?

today was super hot here again. after going out for most of the day with B, i just hung out in bed for a bit and brought B with me with a bunch of his toys. then i guess i started to doze off. next thing i know, he''s out a blanket on me and started singing twinkle twinkle little star to me, then good night mommy. and off he went to play with his toys on the other side of the bed. it was pretty funny and cute at the same time.

Hi mommies,

i hope everyone is doing well. we''ve got a battle with the runny noses/coughs in my house right now. so far, no fevers which is a good thing but going through lots of tissues
14.gif

not much else going on to report. speaking of disneyland, we are trying to plan a trip to Disneyworld ourselves over thanksgiving. i still haven''t taken my girls are they really are a great age to go. i will probably leave Jake with a sitter or bring one along because monkey boy probably is not going to want to ride in a stroller for very long and he''s just a handful when we''re out in public right now. He''s not bad, just very curious to explore etc. and it''s just stressful for me.

tgal- i hope you had a great trip but are glad you''re back

bobo-glad little b doesn''t have a hernia.

burk-not much longer until the big ultrasound right?

puffy-hope you are feeling well and i''m glad you''re enjoying some time to yourself. life gets super crazy for a while when you add #2...fun but crazy.

MrsS--
Thanks for posting that clip.
It''s just adorable. You should post more.
I think Jake would enjoy Disneyland by that time.
I''m sure he can recognize some of the characters already.
My SIL took her one yr old there and they said that she did enjoy it...though probably not as much as she did when she''s two.
Awww...poor kiddies. J is having a cold too.
I think there is something going around cuz there are a few kids in her class w/ a cold as well.
I''m not as resilient as I used to be, so I caught what she''s got as well
7.gif

Just hope it doesn''t develop into a nasty cough w/ phlegms (for both of us) like the last few colds.

Bobo--
Glad to hear that the lump was a false alarm.
Hope B and you are doing well.
Are you guys pretty much settled into your new place?

Snlee--
Wow, party is quickly approaching.
Are you guys settled too in your new place?
So are you guys officially TTC for #2 now?
I hope you and LIA don''t have to go through the bedrest experience this time around.
Why were you put on bedrest last time?

Puffy--
How sweet is that B sings to you.
He''ll definitely be a good big brother.
You probably don''t even have to lift a finger w/ the new baby :)
My niece was like that w/ her sister -- definitely a mommy''s little helper -- she''ll go get her sister the bottle and play w/ her when that baby wakes up before her mom.

TGal--
Welcome back. Hope you had a good trip.

Burk--
That''s good that you got all the details done for the house.
Honestly, you are tiny! you don''t look preggo or chunky at all.

Hi gang--

Tgal--glad you are back safe and sound! Did you enjoy your time away & get your one-on-one time with Tguy?

Burk--ugh, poor T. My allergies are so terrible right now too, so i know how she feels. Hope you find time to relax, after this busy week you have. Awesome that T likes your V-ball games. It''s nice to be able to do something you like but still have her around.

Puffy--so cute that B sung to you. He is such a character. I am jealous of your warm weather. We''ve had serious frost here a few morning so snow is just days or weeks away. Enjoy it. The fall is so nice when its warm

Lili--how''s J doing? Over her cold? Is your daycare going nutty over swine flu? Our school is constantly making announcements to wash hands etc. I am hoping all our kiddies stay flu-free this winter.

MrsS--oh Disney land, how fun!!! I am so excited for you. I don''t blame you for wanting to leave Jake behind. I think i would too--Co would never sit still for hours of waiting in line and it would be *much* better to just make it a weekend for them and less stressful for you!

Snlee--you have to post some b-day pics for us!!!
1.gif

bobo--so glad you found out about the lymph nodes. Is B feeling well these days?

Tacori--any new sassy T stories ?

QT--hope you are well!

Nothing much new with me--the days and weeks are flying by and i am finding it VERY hard to balance everything. I really had to readjust my schedule to make everything fit. Little changes like I decided to start prepping dinner the night before so i can spend on-on-one time with Co after picking him up. I used to work out every day after work but just recently started going at 6:00am before Co gets up so that is out of the way too (this will be harded to do when the snow arrives
14.gif
. I think i am going to have to scale back on coaching and volunteer work this winterr too--i am just not into it.
Obviously i am not the only mom to work fulltime so it is silly for me to complain, but this is all just so new to me and i am not adjusting all that quickly.
15.gif
. Anyone have tips ?
Anxiously awaiting to find out if TTC worked this month. I''ll test sometime next week. I have a very long cycle (well over 30 days, but it varies) so iam just waitin now. I don''t feel preggo at all so to be honest i am not expecting to see positive.

Hi all, quiet here--toddlers must keep mommies really busy!

Jas12: hang in there, we all struggle with it. My tip is to def scale back on some things, you can't be supermom (unless you're curlygirl, haha), and better to balance a few things well rather than struggle to balance everything and feel like you're drowning. I'm amazed you're working out early morning btw! I find it hard to balance too b/c I have so little time once I'm home, and dinner = delivery or something prepared the night before (or grandma whips something up). Good thing my DH can cook too! But there is no gym for me (I do alot of walking) and very little to no time with friends and quality time with DH also suffers. During the day I'm always running, to train, to work, to squeeze in errands at baby store/Wholefoods during lunch, run back to work, run to train, rush home to baby. No way around it though, it's all about priorities and seems like right now it's 1) baby 2) work 3) errands, ugh!

How about when #2 comees along, do you anticipate going back to work? Of course you guys get 1 year off which is a whole different ball game, but I find it very hard seeing how I can maintain what little balance I have now as a working mom if there was a # 2! Keep us posted!

I''ve been MIA. Pedi believes that Meena has the flu. She has a fever and is coughing. I think she got it from our nephew and SIL since she isn''t in daycare. Nephew was sick with a fever last week.

Just wanted to say Happy 1st Birthday to Derek and Chloe, and also Lucy (I think her birthday is around the corner too, right?).

Will try to catch later on today. Off to the dentist now.

puffy~My allergies have been horrible lately, too. No fun. Do you take anything for yours? I usually take Allegra, but can't during pregnancy...clariten and Zyrtec don't work for me. I'm not really sure when we'll head to Disneyland. I think we'll wait a while until both kids can really enjoy it.

mrss~yay for a potential trip to Disneyland for your fam!! You are right, my big u/s is next Friday!!
36.gif

lili~Is J feeling any better? We have pretty much everything picked out for the house except some odds and ends like carpet final choices, paint, and other little stuff that the designer can help with!
41.gif

Jas12~I don't remember having such terrible allergies at this juncture in the year ever before. Yuck. Sorry you're feeling it, too. I am so glad that T is able to come to my vball games even though I know it's a lot of work for my DH and my mom. I'm sorry you're having a hard time with full-time work. Sounds like you've already made some great adjustments in scaling back. It's hard. I have started doing a lot of a week at a time meal prep on Sunday nights when T's in bed.

QT~Hope M feels better soon! Will you have another u/s any time soon so you know the sex?

Jas12-I don''t work full time so I don''t have any real advice but I will say that If I did I definitely would cut out anything I was volunteering for that didn''t directly involve my kids for a while, especially if you aren''t feeling really into it like you said. You''ll get more personal gratification from just spending that time with Co. I''m sure it''s it a big adjustment and although I''m sure it''s overwhelming you sound like you are figuring out ways to make it work. hang in there! fingers crossed on the TTC too!

qt-so sorry about meena and the flu. I guess the up side would be you won''t have to worry about her getting it again this year. I just made appointments to get the flu shot for all my kids. I debated and decided to just do it. I''m going to go get mine tomorrow while Jake is at school and I''m making my hubby get his this year too. I hope she bounces back quickly!

Burk-yay for next friday. have you guys told T anything yet about a new baby? Sorry your allergies have been bad. Everyone in our house except Lily has the cold/cough. Still no fevers which is good but everyone is just feeling so under the weather, but not sick enough to justify staying in bed ya know? We need a freeze to come to kill all the junk in the air! hope you feel better too.

mrsS i am sure your kids will all love disneyworld. when we took B to disneyland last year when he was almost 1, he still enjoyed it. i''m sure he''ll enjoy it this time much much more. but he did not want to sit still in that stroller and he loved the characters. hope all the runny noses are getting better!

lili heehee, i am definitely hoping that B is going to help out with the baby, but i can''t really expect him to. i mean sure grab a diaper here and there, but i admit, it would be beyond wonderful to have an extra set of hands. we were out with friends the other day and they have a 1 month old baby, and B helped changed the diaper!! i lifted the legs up and B slipped the diaper into place and he fastened it as well. and he just loved that little baby to death. it was so cute to see. we sat him down and placed the baby on him for him to hold, he was just kissing her, and singing to her...so cute!! is J all better?

jas12 it must be so hard for you to adjust and spend time with Co after work. no advice, but i hope it gets easier. i am anxiously waiting for your TTC attempt news!!

qt hope M is feeling better. poor girl!! do you have another ultrasound scheduled? or will you get another one?

burk i''m not taking anything either for the allergies, but they suck big time!! how is T doing?

all has been good with us. B is becoming more and more the nurturing type. when he sees me sitting on the couch with my feet up, he''ll get a pillow and tell me to put my feet up on the pillow, or he will want to help me get off the couch and he insists on tucking me into bed, but that usually doesn''t happen since i''ll get out of bed to put him to bed. silly kid. i''ve finally slowed down a bit with working out....my body was seriously telling me to slow down and the past few days i just kinda ignored it, but i am paying for it now. so no more working out 6 days a week.

hope everyone is doing well!!!

The next OB appt is next Friday, so I''ll ask him to check then. Don''t know if he''ll do it. I hope so though.
I had a growth spurt b/c I gained 7lbs in 3weeks. It''s all the sweets that I was eating, but I have cut down since then. At the appt before last, I was only up 4lbs.
How''s J doing? the cold gone?

Burk
Poor Tayva with her allergies. Hope it doesn''t cause her asthma to get bad.
Congrats on winning the division.
Have fun at your u/s next Friday. Any intuitions on boy or girl?
I am going to ask OB if he''ll do one next Friday. If not, I''ll probably have to wait until around 28 weeks (I think that''s when OB did an u/s to check on baby''s progress last pregnancy).

puffy
OMG that''s so cute that B put a blanket on you and starting singing twinkle twinkle little star.
I love Disneyland, and DH only goes for me. I can''t wait to take Meena. I hope DH has more fun with her.
Hopefully I''ll get next Fri. If not, maybe around 28 weeks when OB does an u/s check on baby''s progress after the anatomy u/s last time.

MrsS
Trip to DisneyWorld would be fun.
Hope you guys feel better. Runny noses are no fun.
I''ll have to ask OB about flu shot. We actually scheduled for Meena to get her flu shot this Friday, but the pedi office called and said they ran out of flu shots. So I guess it doesn''t matter now since she already got the flu.

Jas12
I would definitely cut down on the volunteering and coaching, especially since you are not really into it. You probably just need more time to adjust to working full time since you were home with Co for so long.
I am anxious waiting for your pregnancy test result. Fingers crossed.

Jas12--
Wow, you''ve got a lot on your plate.
I don''t know how you mommies handle being a working mom and housewife and workout and volunteer.
Like others have said, I''d drop the volunteer for the time being especially since you are not that thrilled about the work either.
Woohoo...fingers crossed for your BFP next week.
I''m out this cycle
8.gif
, so if you don''t get your BFP, we can be cycle buddies next cycle
9.gif

30 days is not too long.
Isn''t it funny how we wished our cycles are shorter when we are TTCing?

How is Co doing? Is crawling a thing of the past for him now?
And I don''t have to ask, but he''s probably talking in sentences now and reciting his ABCs :D

Janine--
Did you find anything that works for the bookcase edges?
I hope C didn''t slam her fingers too hard on the drawers.
J had a few occurrences w/ that...and learned quickly that she is to use the handle to close the drawers
41.gif

QT--
Poor M....is she feeling better?

Puffy--
That is just too cute how nurturing B is!
I can''t wait to see pictures of him w/ his new little brother.
Hey, so have you guys decided on his name yet?

I can''t believe how active some of you preggos are -- working out so many days a week.
What kind of workouts do you do?

LIA and Snlee--
Thanks for posting that recall.
I got a call from the vendor where I go some J''s tylenols drop and couldn''t hear what they were saying.
Fortunately, hers wasn''t one of the lot. We''ve already just one bottle of the 2 pack already.

---------
As for J, she''s slowly recovering from her cold. Runny nose is not longer runny, but gooey gunk when she sneezed once in a while.
She still got her cough in the morning, but still her energetic self. Let''s see if she''ll be fine before monday.

Ok, off to check out those cute bellies.

OK attempt at a mini catch up...

Bobo, glad it was nothing serious. I just love little B and am glad he is good.

MrsS, colds suck...especially when it''s not cold season! I''d do Disneyworld with just the girls...the thought of taking a 1.5 year old to Disney is a scary thought! Especially if there LINES you have to wait in!

Jas, no one on one time. Yeah, I know, sucky. Ah well. Glad to be home. Sorry to hear balancing everything is tough...you are allowed to complain. It would be hard to be away from the cutie since you were with him for a full year. I''ll send preggo vibes your way.

QT, take good care of Meena and yourself...the flu is nothing to sneeze at!

lili, another with with a cold? Yikes! Yeah, this thread is slower lately, but that''s saved me. It''s been a crazy month so I would have died trying to catch up.

Life is good here. I LOVE this age. I think I love every age (over 3 months, hehehehe). It''s just a fun, awe inspiring time. My kid is no genius, but I also think I underestimate what kids actually understand. Like I talk to her a lot (just because), not expecting her to understand. The other day she had a book, and I just said, "Amelia where are all your other books?" because I couldn''t figure out why we only had one book in the living room. I was sitting on the couch and all of the sudden she gets down and puts her cheek on the floor. I''m lithinking, girl, what are you doing? She stays down there and I see that she''s looking under the sofa, where she''s stashed all her other books (I had no idea.)

I also asked her offhand as I was getting ready to leave, "Hey kid, can you go get your shoes for me?" So she runs and goes gets them and brings them back to me. Like I said, it''s not that this is amazing, but it surprised me because I just didn''t expect her to pick out the words she understands and actually perform the action.

Anyhow, she''s been discharged from physical therapy. All good there. She loves it though because it''s just an hour of crazy run around play time. And so far she is listening well. Definitely starting to test boundaries, but she gives in (like when I tell her to put something back if she grabs something she is not supposed to have).

If it keeps getting better, than I''m in for a fun ride. This second year just sh*ts all over the first one (which was pretty good after the first 2 or 3 months). It''s awesome, and I''m a happy mom, which is more than I ever hoped for.

Happy friday all..

puffy-that is sweet that little b is being so nurturing! He''s going to be such a great big brother!

qt-i just scheduled appts for my kids to all get the flu shot. I got mine today. I wonder if your dr. will still give meena the flu shot? I bet they will just in case it covers a different strain??? How is shill feeling today?

lili-I''m glad J is doing better. good luck to you too on the TTC front!

tgal-I love this age too and totally agree that it''s so fun seeing how they really are understanding things now. I will admit to looking forward to when Jake''s a bit older so I don''t have to hawk watch him all the time. the kid climbed up on my dinning room table today and once on top thought it would be fun to stand up. I tell him no and take him off but he thinks it''s funny. Going to the playground just isn''t fun b/c he has the ability to climb up anything but no idea what his limitations are. we were at the park last week and I let him down and he was running towards the jungle gym and there was a boy swinging on the monkey bars and jake was running towards them and I yelled for Jake to stop and he didn''t listen and ran under the boy who swung back and nailed Jake in the head with his legs/feet. It knocked him right down and the poor boy felt so bad. I told him it wasn''t his fault, my runaway baby brought it upon himself but Park=stress for me right now. I do try an cherish each minute though b/c I know first hand how quickly time passes. especially as I''m helping my 2 grader with her homework.

not much in other news for us. everyone seems to be getting over the colds which is great and no one is showing signs of any other illness. flu shots scheduled in 2 weeks and I pretty sure I''m going to do the H1N1 too. I don''t know if it''s media hype or not but don''t want any of us to get it if it can be prevented. happy weekend all!

mrss~We''re so excited the u/s is almost here. We still haven''t talked about the baby with T. We do tell her she needs to be extra gentle to my belly and she gives it kisses, but nothing really besides that. I am showing, but not enough for a toddler to realize something''s different and it''s still a long time until the baby actually gets here, which would make it hard for her to wait. I guess we''ll just keep waiting until the right time? Yucky stuff going around. Hope your household is all feeling 100% soon!!

puffy~Allergies really suck...my asthma is getting bade, too. Booo... I wish clariten or zyrtec made a difference or I''d probably take one of them since they''re considered safe.

Qt~I have no idea what this baby is and we were really talking about not finding out but now that it''s so close I just know there''s no way I could do that. We don''t agree on names right now, too, so that''s another added piece to the "need to know gender" puzzle so we know which ones to fight over.

Tgal~I love every new stage more and more, too. It''s so much fun seeing how much they are constantly learning.

In Tayva news, I''m pretty sure the allergies have caused her asthma to flare up (either that or she has something other than allergies). We started her asthma treatments again and I''ll call to get her in with her allergist on Monday. He told me the beginning of October is when her asthma would probably flare up again and unfortunately he was right. I was really hoping she had grown out of it.
