Colby is adorable. He looks like a toddler already.

Bad news ladies. The baby wasn''t cooperating, so we don''t know the sex. Boo. At first, s/he wouldn''t move, and then s/he covered the area with his/her hand. Oh well. My dr did an u/s the visit after my big u/s last time. Maybe he''ll do it this time and check the gender.

Lia, thanks for asking. I have had so much personal growth this last 4 months that I am in a calm place. Feels good
2.gif
Coby is SO cute and I put two and two together (regarding the nickname) from your FB page. I thought Coby WAS his name. Haha. He is so cute and does look so old! You should offer him your food. His taste might surprise you! Granted the stuff I don''t give her is super spicy more like medium. Nursing takes a lot out of you so I am not surprised that your OB wants you to stop after you get preggo. Good luck. T did not have a problem with cows milk and yes, you can start it soon or even now if you want. My friend was "done" BFing at 10 months and her pedi said just go to cow''s milk. Hope it goes smoothly!

QT, sorry the baby didn''t flash ya. I do have to say it was pretty exciting having the sex being a surprised. But I understand you wanting to know. Hope you get another u/s!

MrsS, T loves salsa too! How funny. I figure at least she is eating tomatoes that way. I am sure Jake will adjust. He was probably "punishing" you. Haha. T now calls me "mommy" and it melts my heart every time. What do you have planned for next Friday?

Burk, I missed your bump. Off to go back to search for it!

Jas12, complications happen. Hope your friend feels well soon.

bobo, I am so sorry. Poor little B. Hope everything works out soon!!!!

Lili, our girls are feisty aren''t they? The horizontal pupils on the goats freaked me out a bit. Scary about the bite. Did you tell them? That goat needs to go back to the farm and should be kept away from kids. Scary!

puffy, I wonder if your second one will be a talker too. B probably won''t let him get a word in. That is what happened with my sister and me. Like I always say being a daddy is MUCH easier than being a mommy so I am sure your DH has no IDEA how complicated things are about to get.

Burk, if we got them together we might be in for some major trouble!

Qtie--darn, i checked-in to see if you had the news.
3.gif
Are you going to go find out at one of those 3D places, or just go for the surprise?

LIA--Coby is just beautiful. He really does have beautiful hair!!!!! I didn''t get my period back until around 10-11 mos. Like you i was still full-on BFing. We slowly weaned from 12-16 mos but i also wanted to TTC and was wondering how my body would deal with nursing and pregnancy. We are trying now, but it''s only been one cycle since i fully weaned so i wonder what my body will do. My hairdresser nursed thru her pregnancy, but she admitted she was run-down all the time & my Dr. said it is hard to do. Women used to do it all the time, but these days we moms usually work full time, don''t get enough sleep, good food etc. etc. !
I think my friend has a colonstomy bag. I guess they caught it just in the nick of time since she was in pain for days after the birth but they thought it was just related to the c-section. Apparently my friend''s DH is still trying to cope with everything that happened, he was very traumatized and hasn''t called/emailed many ppl. I am just glad she is able to actually see and hold the baby now after 2 loooong weeks.

Tacori--ya, complications certainly do happen. But this was no average complication.

Bobo--What does it mean if B''s gland''s ''pop out''? Your right, that does sound awful. It''s too bad it wasn''t discovered earlier, but i guess it''s good you found out at all! I hope that the specialist (if that''s where you go) gives your some conclusive answers and treatment so you can put all the health scares behind you. I could just imagine how stressful all of this has been. *hugs to you and B*

LIA coby is just so handsome!!!

qt bummer about the u/s! i hope you find out though so you can fill us in. haha.

tacori how is T doing? i definitely agree that being a daddy is so much easier!! i just wonder if DH is going to be as helpful as he thinks he will be.

bobo what an ordeal with little B. the poor kid!! my heart absolutely breaks for you guys. it must be so nerve wrecking. but i do hope that things get better for him soon. and if he is referred to a specialist, then hopefully the specialist will have answers for you guys.

jas12 sorry to hear about your friend. i hope she is able to make a full recovery.

i just had to vent for 1 minute, not about B or anything like that. just about being preggo, i guess. don''t get me wrong, i love it and am trying to enjoy every minute of it. but it seems every time i turn around, people tell me that i am about to pop, then they get all surprised and look at me like WTH when i tell them that i am ONLY 25 weeks!! i try to just blow it off, but it is so hard to not let it affect me. my MIL kills me for sure!! every time i see her, she tells me that i am BIG. i know this is a total normal part of being preggo and dealing with dumb people, but seriously, i really didn''t think that i was THAT big. and i still have another 15 weeks of dealing with these comments. maybe i''ll just hide out at home for another 15 weeks. haha.

well, hope all the mommies and kiddos are having a wonderful weekend!!

thanks jas, puffy, and tacori!

TACORI: i''m so glad to hear you''re doing better! that''s funny that you thought his name was coby. we always really liked the name jacob, but were hesitant to call him "jake" with our last name...

JAS: so scary about your friend. colostomies kind of suck, but hopefully the plan will be to take hers down eventually (a lot of times after the swelling and stuff has resolved, the surgeons are able to reconnect things). i feel so bad for her and her husband!!
on another note...i can''t imagine nursing all the way through pregnancy! what would happen when the new baby was born? i would think there would be some serious jealousy issues. i''ll keep my fingers crossed for you on the ttc front.

PUFFY: that is so annoying about all those comments...poor thing! although i saw your pic for BPF and you are TINY!! they don''t know what they are talking about. hang in there!!!

i was a bad mom today and had coby watch college football with me ALL day. thankfully he didn''t seem too interested, but i still felt kind of bad. we try not to have the tv on with him around most of the time, but there are things that just cannot be missed!!! :)

hey guys, it''s been FOREVER since I''ve even been here, but we just got a new computer (finally) and i wanted to say hi to all my favorite mommies! It''s lots of fun here in twinland with mobile girls -- Sophie''s walking and Marina is usually cruising/crawling right behind her, so at least they sort-of go the same direction :) Anyway, all''s good, just busier than ever, so I can''t make any promises about being around, but I just wanted to let you all know that we''re fine and we miss you!! Will get back with new pics now that I have a working scanner :)
I''m posting this to the other thread too.... girls are almost 11 months, so i''ll be over "here" soon ;-)

hugs,
jen and marina and sophie

lili~Yea, my husband is like a small child!
16.gif
T does the same thing poking all my facial features to name them. Too funny. We are still just using "private" as well. I am afraid to use anything else because knowing her she''d run off and sign a song about her vagina at daycare!
20.gif

mrss~Thanks. I still feel like I''m in the icky stage (which I got to quickly and can''t seem to get out of) but it''s all for a good cause.
21.gif
Sounds like Jake did great at school and your day sounds great! Is his school once a week or twice?

puffy~I think you''re right and my u/s will be here in no time...time has been flying already. Too funny about you loving the rides. I have no interest although I loved watching T. And she''s doing great, thanks for asking. She is learning so much every day. Some of the things that come out of her mouth make me want to cry because she''s just getting so big. I love it, though. How is all the house organizing coming along? Have you started a nursery?

Bobo~Thanks. When will you find out the number of the test? Please keep us posted!!

Jas12~Thanks. Tacky bathroom bump pic was all inspired by you!
2.gif
So crazy about your poor friend! I can''t imagine. So glad she is able to spend time with both her kiddos finally.

LIA~Coby is such a cutie!! Love his hair. Yay for TTC soon!!

QT~Oh no!! I was so looking forward to the news. I hope your Dr does a u/s at your next visit!

Tacori~If you missed the bump you didn''t miss much. I''m still in the "she kind of just looks chunky" stage.
5.gif
I agree our T''s would def. be major trouble together....but such cute trouble!

Hi Jen!!
35.gif

Not much new with us. We had a pretty relaxed weekend. T and I went shopping for a while today and she reminded me why I rarely take her shopping....WOW! I needed to get her some fall clothes, though. Anyone else having a hard time with cute fall shoes for girls? Tacori, I remember you saying you got T''s a while back? Where did you order them from? Hope everyone had a great weekend!!

Hi everyone! It''s been FOREVER since I posted or even looked at the forum, but I wanted to drop in and say hi! Everyone''s little ones are absolutely adorable and growing so fast! I''m going to try and read through all these pages a couple at a time and catch up, but right now Jay''s favorite activity is to shut the computer while I''m trying to type, so it might be a long process :)

Hope everyone is doing well!

Here''s a recent pic of Jay

HI JEN!!!
35.gif
it''s great to "see" you. can''t wait to see some pics of the girls. can you believe that our little guys are going to be one soon? it''s so crazy!

hi miss pinky! great pic!! she is adorable.

BURK: that''s funny about the shopping...i used to love taking coby to stores with me. but even now, he no longer is really content to just hang out in the stroller. i can''t even imagine what it will be like once he''s walking and into everything!! i don''t know very much about shoes, but you should keep looking at mamabargains. it seems like they have riley roos and vincents pretty often. and they both make some really adorable girls shoes!!

good to see everyone!

sorry no big reveal Qtiekiki, but the anticipation continues which is fun too! I think if they''re shy, they say it''s more likely a girl?? hehe, it''s all a guessing game really which is part of the fun.

bobo-can''t believe these docs keep missing things--I hope they get to the bottom of this soon!

puffy: well they do say things move quicker with #2, but i highly doubt you look that big! Don''t worry, people say crazy things. I still remember the people who say they knew I''d have a girl b/c they steal your beauty! (thanks alot
emangry.gif
!)

LIA: what a cutie and he does look like a toddler already! Funny about the TV. C loves TV, it''s embarrassing! She just gazes at it, so we turn it off, but then she looks for the remote and points it at the TV and gets all soft spoken and makes cute noises as if to say "just a little?". I think the flat screens are extra captivating or something.

sk8rjen: hi! you sound busy but the girls are must be doing great and wow, growing fast!

been giving C what we eat lately..she sure loves pizza! She will eat meat. I even gave her some sea bass (we don''t normally eat this, but splurged) and she wasn''t too crazy about that (silly girl), but in general will try anything. I''m unsure about weaning from the bottle though--how does that work? She loves her morning and evening bottle and she''s still petite, so I''m keeping things status quo on that for now.

Burk, I ordered three pairs of shoes for her from See Kai Run They are REALLY nice shoes. Nice leather, cute styles and colors, seem comfy. Luckily the shoes fit her (I bought them when they had an awesome clearance like 6+ months ago). She has the "Yuna," "Sylvia" and some eggplant suede boots they don''t seem to offer anymore. I went a little overboard but I got all three pairs for around $60 so that is not much more than Target''s shoes. I try never to take T shopping with me. What a pain! Sometimes it is impossible to avoid though. You look tiny BTW. I went back in the preggo thread and found ya!

MrsS, I was thinking of getting T the same lunchbox Chloe has...do you think it would be ok for a preschooler though? It seemed large in her hand and she is much bigger than T. Looks SO cute though.

Jen, I cannot even IMAGINE how busy you are! Sounds like the girls are doing great. Good to "see" you!

Lia, knowing your last name I understand
2.gif

Misspinky, Jay looks adorable as always. Glad you checked in!

Puffy, people used to say I was about to pop really early on too. I am short with a short torso. Where is the baby suppose to go? Only out. I was HUGE. I mean freakishly. You are TINY. People are clearly idiots.

I need to come back and respond to everyone but Jake is pulling on my leg so real quick:

LIA: I''m so sorry...don''t know why I called Coby (Colby). can i still blame things on pregnancy brain? or maybe just crazed mommy mommy

BURK, that''s great that T loves rides! I can''t wait to ride rides with D!

PUFFY, can''t believe your SH is talking about #3 already! He''s crazy! Vent away! I have to say, you aren''t big at all! Your bump looks tiny! You look great!

LILI, I love your J stories! That is too funny the girl wipes herself when she wanted a diaper change! Teething sucks! It''s not his molars yet. I think he has 3 top teeth coming in, one of them the big middle one. I hope they make their appearance soon!

MRSS, hoe heartbreaking to hear Jake cry out for you. I hope it gets easier for him. Glad you had a great day off!

BOBO, what does his glands will pop out mean? When is the third test? Keep us posted. Poor little B. I''m sorry you have to go through this.

JAS12, I''ve never heard of that complication! How scary! I am glad your friend is okay!

LIA, so exciting that you''re going to TTC soon! Maybe we''ll be pregnant together again for #2!
2.gif
Yay for a tooth! He looks so old! Adorable!

QT, I have been waiting for your update! What a bummer! The suspense continues. I hope you find out at your next dr visit!

JEN, hi! Good to see you here! I am sure your five kids are keeping you very busy! Check in when you can!

MISSPINKY, Jay is so cute! What is she pointing at?

JANINE, that''s great that C is eating well and she''s not picky! I love how D will eat anything now and I hope it doesn''t change. Sure makes things easier!

Sorry I wrote Colby. I knew it’s a nickname for Jacob, but for some reasons, I just added a “l”. Won’t do it again. =P
This is just from my experience, but my supply really tanked after I got pregnant. I got the BFP when Meena was 10 months, and I fully stopped breastfeeding when she was 11.5 months. I wanted to make it to a year, but I couldn’t. I tried pumping more and putting Meena on the breasts more, but it didn’t help with the supply at all. In the end, it just became too much stress for me and I stopped. I read about people breastfeeding while pregnant, but it didn’t work for me. My OB wanted me to stop breastfeeding right away, but he said it’s up to me.
Hmm you didn’t name your baby after Kobe Bryant. DH’s cousin and her husband did though. We kind of feel bad for the baby, especially since we are in LA. And to make thing worse, the dad’s name is Bryan. But to each their own.
Tacori
It might just be a surprise baby. =)
How are things with you?
And I am still waiting for the flower girl pic when you get a chance.
Jas12
If my OB doesn’t do an u/s, then we’ll probably just have a surprise baby. DH doesn’t like those 3D ultrasound pics.
How’s the house coming along?
Good luck TTCing.
Puffy
What? You are not even big for 25 weeks. People just forget how big they were when they are pregnant. Don’t listen to them.
Jen
It’s great to hear from you. Can’t wait to see pics of the girls. We miss you too.
Burk
We got Meena these brown mary jane from Stride Rite and I think are cute. What are you looking for? I also saw a pair of brown See Kai Run that’s adorable, but M is in between size (4 was too small, but 5 was quite big). So I’ll wait to get those.
I think I finally understand what you ladies mean when you say it’s not fun shopping with a walking toddler. Yesterday we went to the mall with M, and we let her out of her stroller to walk around a bit. She didn’t want to hold our hands, and just wandered off. She just wanted to walk up to and bang on the glass. Time for a leash. LOL.
So what did you end up getting T?
Misspinky
Shutting the computer on my hands had been M’s favorite activity for a long time now. Hehe.
Jay is adorable. Love her curly hair.
Janine
Maybe the modesty means girl. I don’t know. M was not shy or modest in her u/s. Her legs were wild open. Hehe. So we’ll see.
Yay for C liking/trying new food. I hope some of the ladies can offer advice on weaning from the bottle. M wasn’t attached to her bottles, maybe b/c she was breastfed. She was the one who refused the bottle.
Snlee
Good luck TTCing. Maybe you, Jas12, lili and LIA will all be pregnant together. Then we’ll have the next wave of baby.
Just a couple more weeks before D turns one. How is he doing?

Thanks Jas12, sorry to hear about your friend, hope she'll recover soon.
When the pedi said " B's glands will poop out" because he was trying to explain it to me
in a language I can understand. He explained to me that basically too much thyroid hormone
can make a lot of things in your body speed up. You may lose weight quickly, have a fast heartbeat,
sweat a lot, or feel nervous and moody, it also makes the organs work faster so if he don't get
treated it will poop out from working too hard.

Thanks LIA, Coby is so cute!

Thanks Tacori,

Thanks puffy. you are tiny, not big at all. Ignore them, they don't know what they are talking about.

Burk, we should get the result back sometime this week.

Misspinky, Jay is so cute~ love the curls!

Thanks Janinegirly.

Thanks snlee, "glands will poop out" means because his glands and organs are working overtime
so if he don't get treated they will poop out from working too much. We will get the result
from the pedi sometime this week.

MrsS--
Yay for a successful first class.
That must have been heartbreaking w/ Jake calling out to you
7.gif
, but at least he was squealing and running after you.
Hehe, he must have been pooped out w/ all the extra activities -- played hard.
Haha, too funny about Jake''s baptism. I think lesson learned here (from you, Jas12, and Burk) is to have them before they are mobile and talking!

Puffy--
Man, I need to have B over to rub off some of his neatness on her.
What a great boy you''ve got to clean after himself and his mommy!
He''ll definitely be a mommy''s little helper once his brother is here.
Phttp...pay no attention to those comments. I agree w/ QT that sometimes people do forget how big they were.
Or it could be that they are so used to seeing a slim you that any bump will just be huge to them.

Jas12--
So sorry to hear about your friend''s PP complications.
Hope she''s recovering and doing better.
Hehe, I think Co is just waiting until he can say his full name to say it :D

LIA--
Thanks. She''s a funny girl for sure -- would run away from us when she''s got a stinky diaper, but insists on changing a perfectly clean diaper.
How exciting about TTC. I wonder how many of us would be preggo around the same time?
And how lucky your aunt flo hasn''t visited. Mine showed her ugly face at 8 PP, but her visits weren''t as frequent as pre-preggo while I was still BFing.
When I weaned J at 14.5 months, my cycle got back to normal.
Have you tried the munchkin straw cup or some other cups
I had the hardest time getting J to drink milk from the cup (tried different brands of straw cups, sippy cups, tumblers).
She finally took it from the munchkin straw. QT''s M take soy milk from the take-n-toss straw.

And Coby is a cutie and getting so big.
Lucky you that he only cut his first tooth at 10.5 months. J got a good set of chompers by that time and there were many a nights when I''d be screaming because she''d fall asleep and bite down while BFing

Oh my, can''t believe the pedi could miss something like that, but at least he''s fessing up to missing it instead of brushing it under the table.
Anyway, glad little B will be seeing the specialist soon. Hope everything is ok. Keep us posted.
Hmm...I don''t know how she reacted when she was bitten because we were not there.
She must have screamed or something to get the attention of the caretakers.
J is a pretty tough girl and only cries if she''s in real pain.
One time she was playing in her room w/ my friend''s kids and I just heard a little "eh".
When she came out, I saw rubbing her cheek and later checked and found that she''s been scratched and was drawing blood.
Or the time she fell down near the coffee table and bruised her jaw, she only let out a scream and rubbed her cheek.

Tacori--
Yep, still waiting for those flower girl pictures (and BM as well :)
How cute that T calls you "mommy".
J usually calls me "mama", but will refer to me as "mommy" when she talks to her dad.
About the goats, I didn''t report it because I didn''t know that it broke through my skin until I showered that night and noticed that it sting pretty bad.

Jen--
35.gif
Long time no see.
Glad to hear that Sophie and Marina are doing well.

Burk--
Haha, I can totally see T doing that!

MissPinky--
35.gif
Jay is adorable.
Love those eyes and that curly head of hair!
And the swimsuit is just too cute.
How old is she again?

Janine--
haha, too cute w/ C and the remote control.
J is not really a TV girl, but she does want to see her DVD every now and then.
She knows which controller to turn on the DVD and will get that and give it to her dad.
Sometimes her daddy takes too long changing the tv setting to play the dvd player, she''d take away his tv controller thinking that he was just watching his program.
Kids...they learn so fast.
That''s so great that C is open to try new things. Make introducing new food to her really easy.
J is like that too, always eager to try anything new. Liking it is another story though.
It seems like ages since we saw a picture of your little cutie pie.

Snlee--
Poor D. Hope they come in soon.

QT--
Awww...bummer about QTbaby and cooperating.
Hopefully, your dr will another u/s for you guys....
else I guess your hubby gets his wish of being surprised :D

jen it''s nice to see you back!! glad to hear that things are going well.

burk glad to hear that T is doing great! i love it when they learn things. it is so fun. we haven''t really started organizing or doing a nursery just because i am still kinda hoping to get a bigger house. we have been going to see some homes, so we''ll see what happens. have you heard back from the couple about your house?

misspinky Jay is beautiful!! i love her hair!!

LIA haha, taking kids out shopping when they are into everything is the BEST!!! haha. B has actually calmed down a lot when i take him out. and now when he is not in the stroller, he hangs onto me or some part of my clothing and NEVER lets go. ok, i am mean, but i tell him that if he doesn''t hold on that i will go away again. then he gets a bit freaked and tells me how much he loves me and 20 different reasons that i can never leave him. haha, but it works for now.

janine sounds like you''ve got a pretty good eater on your hands.

tacori thanks! i saw MIL yesterday and she insisted on telling me how big i was. i ignored her at first, then i just kinda snapped. i basically told her that i hoped that i was getting bigger since i do have a baby growing in there and since i only have 3 more months left, i didn''t expect to look like a supermodel. then DH got on her, which i really appreciated cause he usually never does, but clearly, he knew i was getting upset. how is T? as fun and full of personality as ever i am sure!

snlee thanks! sounds like D is a good eater as well!! how is the little guy? and TTC#2? that''s great!! give D a little play buddy.

qt thanks. i seriously thought that i looked average for being 25 weeks, but maybe not. who knows. maybe i''m in denial?!? haha. i looked back when i was preggo with B, and i actually think that i am smaller this time. oh well. now, you are super cute and tiny for 20 weeks!!

bobo i''m hoping that the test results come back better for little B. i can''t imagine what you must be going through. how is little B?

lili J is so funny!! B has this stuffed animal, and the other day i gave him a diaper to play with while i was getting some stuff done. so i come back to the room to find the diaper on his stuffed animal. haha, i cracked up so loud, i think i scared him. so he quickly took the diaper off like he had done something wrong. so i told him that he did a great job. then he wrapped up the diaper and threw it in the trash and asked for another diaper. haha. if he wasn''t PT''ed already, i would think that he was ready to change his own diaper.

Haha, J did the same thing, though she did have me put them on them for her.
She''s got diapers on 3 of her stuff animals and toys (more if the diapers were big or small enough for the rest)
And several times, she insisted on putting diapers on her daddy and myself
40.gif
.
she would spread out the diaper and tried to stuff it underneath our butts when we were sitting.
Let me see if I have a picture of some of diapered animals.

Good for your DH for getting on MIL giving you grief about your belly.
Like the others have said, you are tiny for more than half way there.

Oh well, I don't, but here's a picture of the 2 that had her sz3 diapers on -- the Nemo and Bear (which are about the same size as her) in the lower right corner on the bed.
The bear still have the diaper on, but I removed the Nemo's cuz he looked like a amputated fish w/ his fin in the diaper
Oh, and this is how I find her sleeping 2 hrs after she fell asleep on the right side of the bed.

JANINE: that''s so cute about the TV!! i''m wondering about how much breastmilk/formula they need at this stage too...

SNLEE: that would be fun to be preggo again together. are you nervous about possible bed rest? i am! i try not to think about it because i know it could go either way,but i can''t help it. can you imagine it with a toddler??

QT: no worries on the colby front!! i hope i didn''t offend you regarding your cousin''s baby''s name!! i''ve heard from a bunch of people about supply dipping when getting preggo. that really worries me b/c coby really won''t drink anything else (well, water sometimes from a sippy, but he ALWAYS WANTS TO NURSE!!).

BOBO: i really hope the docs get little b''s thyroid issue figured out quickly. thank goodness little tykes are so resilient. you''ve been through so much with your kiddo..i hope you''re hanging in there!

LILI; it would be so much fun for all of us to be preggo again together. i haven''t tried the munchkin straw cups. darnit...i was even at target today! should have read this sooner!!! :) he''s only bitten me once so far...OWIE!!!!!!!!!!! i can''t imagine it with more teeth. that picture is a RIOT!!

PUFFY: i love hearing about your little guy''s antics. he sounds like SUCH a character!! and so smart too!

if you guys could think back to when your little guys were a bit younger for a sec, i''d really appreciate it... do you remember how much breastmilk/formula they were drinking? coby eats solids fairly well (and gets a TON of calcium b/c he looooooves cheese), but he''s still nursing a solid 4-5 times a day. it seems excessive to me, but he''s pretty darn demanding!! our typical schedule is:
wake up around 6-6:30 and nurse, then take a walk and eat breakfast (yogurt, a few cheerios, fruit)
8:30 or 9: nurse and then nap for about 1 1/2 hours
11:30 or 12: lunch (cottage cheese, turkey, fruit)
1:30: nurse, then nap for 1 1/2 hours
4pm: nurse (wondering if maybe i should try giving him a snack here instead??)
6 or 6:30: dinner (meat, cheddar cheese, bread, veggie)
7:30: nurse then to sleep

???? more snacks????

TIA!!!!!

lili haha!!! what a great pic of J, i LOVE it!! speaking of pics, i still smile every time i see your AV! so funny with kids. who knew diapers would come in so handy. and to think i already packed most of them away. haha. i''m even thinking of letting B change the baby''s diaper! haha.

LIA when B started eating solids pretty well, i cut him down to nurse 3 times a day. morning, afternoon, and before bed. he was eating solids and snacks all day so i knew he was getting enough to eat. and he definitely didn''t look like he was starving and didn''t act like it. he was eating cereal or waffles or pancakes for breakfast, then a bit after fruit or cheese or both, then lunch then snacks, then nurse then snacks again and dinner then nurse and to bed. by snacks, i usually gave him fruit or yogurt. he was on the nursing 3 times a day since maybe 8 or 9 months, then around 11.5 months, i weaned him slowly by dropping each feeding. have you asked the pedi? it sounds like he is getting plenty to eat. but kids don''t just eat to eat, so if they are eating, they must be hungry. not much of a help, sorry.

No you didn''t offend me. I was just saying that they did name their kid after Kobe. I personally wouldn''t name my kid after such a well-known/famous person.
I don''t know if you read about my weaning experience, but we were having a hard time getting M to drink cow''s milk. She started refusing the bottles when we added cow''s milk to my BM. We tried different sippy and straw cups, and nothing worked until the take-n-toss straw cup. So I understand your worries. I was stressing out when she wasn''t getting enough BM and she wouldn''t drink cow''s milk. Maybe try offering the sippy cup or straw cup more often, so it''ll help the transition in case your supply dips when you get pregnant.
M was nursing once in the morning and twice in the evening with two 5oz bottles of BM during the day when I am at work in addition to 3 solid meals when M was 11 months.

Bravo for your DH for standing up to MIL for you. Seriously, you are pretty tiny for 25 weeks.
How cute that B tells you he loves you and why you should leave him. Whatever works to keep them from running away. hehe.
B can change baby brother''s diapers. LOL.

lili
Talking about DH wanting to be surprised, he didn''t look at the baby the whole time we were at the u/s. And when the tech says she''ll check again to see if she can see the goods, he walked out of the room. So silly.
J really rolls around when she sleeps huh. I find M sideway or on the opposite end in her crib all the time.

HI Misspinky! J is a cutie!!

lia~Shopping is not a fun activity. T doesn''t like to stay put in her stroller, she wants to try everything on, and tries to stray away from me.
20.gif
Independent is good for some things, but not when we''re out in public and she has no fear!! I''ll keep my eyes open at mamabargains, thanks for the tip!!

Tacori~I''ll go check them out! I got her the brown polka dot little flats at Gap the other day but would like a couple other maybe like Mary Jane style pairs. I remember when you got that good deal and I was going to go check it out and never did...probably for the best since she kind of skipped a size. Shopping with crazy toddlers is NOT fun. DH was out of town so I didn''t really have a choice. Thanks for the compliment. I feel anything but tiny right now, but such is the fun game of pregnancy.

snlee~Will you be taking D to a festival or fair any time soon? T loved it so much. She''s pretty adventurous so we weren''t one bit surprised.

QT~I''m looking for some mary janes so I''ll check out Stride Rite. T has Uggs, Shocks tennis shoes, converse chucks and a pair of mary jane type/flat brown shoes I got her at Gap this weekend...I just need more options. Maybe a plain brown and a plain black pair and she''d be set. I bought her a few pairs of jeans and some khakis at Gap and Old Navy along with some pretty basic tops for daycare and play that I don''t care if she ruins.

T wanders too....not fun shopping with toddlers. I try to avoid it..

Bobo~Please keep us updated on the test results and give that cutie a kiss from T and I!!

lili~That is too funny about J putting diapers on her toys. T does the same thing and then she tells me that they pooped and I need to change their diaper!

Such a funny pic of her sleeping.

puffy~It is fun realizing that she''s learning something new every day. I''ll pray you find that bigger house before the baby gets here. We didn''t ever hear back from those people, which is so weird because they told us they were going to their bank!! We''ll break ground this spring whether it''s sold or not, but if we sold it sooner we''d go ahead and break ground sooner which would be nice to possibly be in right around the time the baby is here.

Not much new here. T has started using "excuse me" correctly in most situations, though, which makes me so proud. I have our first home volleyball game tonight so my whole family is coming and DH is excited that means he has help with T and can actually watch some of the game. T was practicing cheering this morning. It was pretty cute.

LIA--
Thanks...she''s a playful sleeper, especially when she''s hot.
Haha, you weren''t kidding when you said the Coby is a big cheese man!
Gotta have his dairy every meal huh?
Looks like he''s eating very well.
J was never a good eater at the age. Only until recently did she eat more solids.
I guess that''s why she was only less than 18 lbs at her 1 yr checkup.
She''s up 3 lbs since then.

J was never a big drinker. I don''t think she drank more than 12 oz a day.
She does drink a lot of water though.
Let''s see....back when she was Coby''s age and still BFing.

At 6:30 am Wake up and nurse for 20 minutes (I''m think it''s around 4 oz).
At 8:00 am Eat a little of baby oatmeal w/ whole milk (maybe 2-3 oz)
At 11:00 am Eat lunch (some tub of baby food and 3 oz of milk)
go down for half hour nap
At 2-3 pm had some snacks (Os, frozen veggies, or fruits) w/ milk or water
go down for half hour nap
At 4:30 snack and water
At 6:30 dinner (baby food again or porridge)
At 8:30 nursed for half an hour and sleep.

Total milk intake from daycare is around 6 oz (on a good day). She usually total 12 oz of milk and solids at daycare.
since they say that the baby can get out of you better than you can pump, I''ll say that maybe J takes in about maybe 14-16 oz?

I think you can eliminate your 4 pm nurse...since that would be less disruptive to his nap.
Try giving him a cup w/ snack like you said.
Good luck w/ weaning.

Puffy--
Haha, I wouldn''t be surprise if B can handle that job!
Is that a camera that B is holding in the avi?
J loves to play w/ the camera too....but only the one that we are using
40.gif

Gave her our old analog camera and she just tossed it aside.

QT--
Haha, your hubby is funny.
Mine is the opposite. He wants to know.
Yeah, J is what you''d call a playful sleeper. I guess she can''t be still even in her still.

Burk--
Cute! I may have missed it, is T potty trained?
So cute about the cheering.
Haha, I hear you on the shopping w/ a toddler.
W/ J, she loves going down the aisle and start picking her stuff.
She''ll grab something and say ''tis'' ''tis'' and then walk over to the cart and tried to put them in.
And absolutely love pushing the cart.
too bad they don''t have those baby carts around like in petco.
I either have to hold her up in front of me and steer the cart w/ her pushing it or else let her push from the bottom shelf where people like to put their feet on
14.gif

Have fun looking for T''s shoes. Have they grown yet? :)

love the pic lili!! C does something similar...she''s always going from one edge of the bed to the next, hanging one leg off (gives me a heartattack!). Loves pillows...goes from one to the other..such a lounger! And forget about blankets.
