A modified version yes.
Has less bad side effects.
The ones I am on are about 1/2 way between tylenol3 and vicodin without some of the side effects.
It is less addictive and not as hard on the stomach as t3 and vicodin.

Its tough to relax things and let them heal but its so important. the meds limit the pain which helps you heal not push the injury. It stinks man! I am still praying for you and i wish you a speedy recovery

Went outside for a while and put down a blanket and laid down with my leg uphill.
Had a nice 20 min nap until the squirrels started chattering at me lol
Swelling is down towards the top about the same by my ankle.

Glad you are resting. LOL about the squirrels. They do that to us when we go camping, they crack us up.
I hope by resting and elevating your leg, the swelling will be down soon. I know how hard it must be to rest all of the time, but you have to do it.

I am enjoying nibbling on my cheese.
Its not that bad most of the time maybe 5-6 on the pain scale without the meds.
I went for a while today without taking any and just took a 1/2 of one a bit ago.
When it gets crampy is when it shoots up to a 10 and the pain meds just barely knock it down a little.
