It took me nearly all of 2009, but of course, my pad ring. I got the first stone in December 2008 and it just spiraled from there. 3 time was the charm with Richard Wise, and it took me several more months to get started on the setting.

I was going to go with 23rd street jewelers since they are local but their prices were so prohibitive, I gave in for awhile. With the generous PS gift, Leon was the easy choice and I''m thrilled I went with Leon.

1) Bought a lovely blue/purple Spinel from Dan Stair.

2) Bought a Rhodalite Garnet from Michael E that was on sale. I don''t like red but I thought I needed something red in my collection.

No photos yet.

3) Bought Pandora stacking rings to figure out if my short fingers can handle gemstone stackers. It''s tight and I probably won''t invest much money in stackers. But I could see having one done with a very thin band. A good option for any really small stones I fall in love with. No photos yet.

4) Bought a Troll Bracelet and am adding to that.

5) Bought a Troll Bracelet for my daughter and am adding to that.

6) Bought a Troll Bracelet for my friend...

7) Bought a leather Pandora for my daughter''s friend...

Reserved two Parti Sapphires from Dana and am stalking his site for more stones.

9) Am waiting to hear back from a cutter on a pair of stones destined to become earrings.
