I had this ring custom made by James Allen and Dickinson By Design to match my wife's engagement ring (but with platinum baskets rather than yellow gold). Her solitaire is .44 ct brilliant cut F color SI-1 clarity and the new ring is .42 ct - .91 ct - .42 ct with all three brilliant cut F color SI-1 clarity. Size 6 1/2.

I Agree. Most diamonds are gorgeous. IMO, the secret in showing a diamond off well is in the correct slection of the mounting, eg a simple but elegant 4 prong setting will make a small diamond look stunning!

The side view shows the squarish shape of the wedding band, which is white gold with .22 cts. total by Jean Francois Albert. Unlike other bands that have a square-look to them but a circular opening, this one is completely square. The shape really helps to keep the ring from spinning.

My finger size is 2 3/4 and the band is 3mm Tiffany style, although I think the prongs are a bit too high. Am considering resetting the diamond a bit lower on the band.

Hi wrstacks
I only have two rings, the solitaire and the half-eternity diamond band. The metal appears to seamlessly hug the diamonds, and in certain lighting, the ring looks really narrow even though it is actually quite wide (and more comfortable, in my opinion).

Side Stones are all si2 and H
Total Weight 1.75

Now that I''ve read this forum I see that I could''ve gone lower on the color/clarity and gotten a bigger diamond that was still beautiful. Also, I''d rather gone with Platinum because of the upkeep with the replating of the white gold. Wish I''d known all this before I bought my ring hehe OH well I can upgrade when I''m older for an anniversary For a starter ring I think we did just fine hehe Let me know what you think.
