Wow, Nobody even wants to come to the forum. Sad. Elliott was so gracious and genuinely emotional (happy and sad) -- it made me smile even though I felt bad. Kat did a crappy job of pretending to be surprised that she wasn''t going home. This is just sad. And yes, the voting was scary. GO TAYLOR!!!

Have to say Elliott handled it with such grace and is just the greatest guy ever. Seeing the clips of his mom crying during the parade, and watching him meet the Governor and throwing the first pitch had me all choked up. He''ll be fine, more than fine. Ok Deco, bring on Tay Tay. I am a bit heavy-hearted tonight but am well on the way to recovery, as I am, as always, a member of the Soul Patrol. It damn near broke my heart to see our Elliott go, though. I think it''s safe to say that I will buy a CD of his in the future, and also that he did steal a little piece of my heart this season.

I am sad for him, but I know with that beautiful voice and strengthened confidence he will go on to do great things.

And Katherine McPhee can kiss my.......................diamond encrusted hand, I guess. (so as not to offend any fellow PSr''s I will keep my actual thoughts on which body part she can really kiss to myself.

elliott was SO graceful and classy about the whole thing, he just is such a good natured person...i love him!!! he's come so far!! i was totally teary eyed watching his goodbye tape....

Katherine needs to take a look at Elliott and learn what genuine humility and grace look like!! She obviously felt the need to point out that she doesn''t come from a smalltown so that''s the only reason she didn''t have the kind turnout that Elliott and Taylor had, and apparently Arnold didn''t send her an invite either!! I think it''s because she doesn''t have the "warmth and charisma" that inspires people like the guys have! I personally wouldn''t walk across the street to see her...

The numbers looked close, and I can''t remember the exact %''s but I think by my quick math figures that Taylor beat her out by almost a couple of hundred thousand votes? (180 000) Does anyone have the actual figures?

I''m planning on voting until my finger is down to the bone next week! And that''s NOT for Conceited Kat!

Did anyone else notice how Kat's parents were jumping up and down with their hands in the air when they announced that Elliott was leaving. Ugh!! Later on her mother mouthed something to the camera and I wanted to jump through the TV and strangle her. I thought they were so inappropriate.

I hope her dad's crying again next week--- because she gets the boot!! I'm so with the Soul Patrol now that Elliott's gone. For no other reason that I've come to really loathe Kat.

Well, just to clarify - he''s not behind a drug store counter. The drug store he worked at is one of the old timey southern lunch counters - he''s a preparer/server. Same at Melito''s - which is also a restaurant.

I am very sad. This is the first time that I thought America sux at picking an idol. I never had the passion about how much I HATE the final two - well at least Kat. I can''t even talk about it.

But, I do think E will be O.K. You know your on your way when your local news has to diss some dirt. They reported - not in the best of light - that Elliott (AFTER HIS APPEARANCES) sneaked out of the barricades for a "smoke & a kiss from his girlfriend". HELLO - this is RICHMOND, VIRGINIA home of Phillip Morris!!! And, just means he''s NOT gay!

My heart is broken. I''ll dis Kat some more in my next post.

With all due respect to you, Tawn, and a big BRONX jeer to KAT - RICHMOND, VIRGINIA is not a SMALL town. It is the CAPITAL OF VIRGINIA and boosts a HEARTY/HEALTHY population in and around the city. It''s one of the LARGEST cities in the Southeast! People care about Elliott because he garners such respect. Nobody give a rat''s butt about Katherine big town/small town whatever!

America - you''ve got to be F-ing kidding me! Who is voting for that dopey Kat? I saw the results show last night & woke up this morning staring at my note that Elliott was sent home. I think that Elliott will be OK. He just needed to get his foot in the door. To get national exposure and to have the right people hear him sing. Now they all have and I think he''ll get some good offers. Just think back to all the big names in the entertainment industry who''ve had a chance to hear him in person. Granted, better offers and exposure would come if he''d at least some in second. I noticed last night that second place Clay Aiken has sold almost as many records as Kelly Clarkson and Bo Bice is well on his way. In fact I just downloaded his song "The Real Thing" for my daughter yesterday. Clay and Bo both finished second but are doing great anyway. Chris Daughtry sounds like he''s going to do well to with his Idol exposure too even with a 4th place finish.

I''m still feeling the love for my man Elliott. Did anyone else notice how far his look had come since the beginning? I''d forgotten about that whole Eminem look he started out with. Definately a change for the better with longer hair and facial hair.

Well I voted for Kat (& Elliott) and i''m not a teen. Is her attitude that bad? I guess I miss these things while I tend to my baby & try to watch at the same time. In any case, Kat sings much better than Taylor. I can sooo picture Taylor singing in one of the Vegas casino lounges. Kat has a great voice even if her attitude stinks. Too bad Elliott is gone, I would have liked him to beat them both.
