Enamored...spinel, sapphire and diamond

Specifications:
Ring:
1.55ct periwinkle blue spinel, Barry Bridgestock
.73cts E-F side stone ideal cut round and trap diamonds
Mount is 18kt, custom from BGD

Band: palladium, 2mmish holding two sapphires and two diamonds alternating, custom from Whiteflash

Ring size: 6.5


The story is long, so here are the bullet points and the thread links:

-I fell in love with Love In Bloom's spinel, as it was exactly what I was looking for for my ering.
-LIB decided to sell the spinel after we got engaged. Lol.
-E B sold her periwinkle and diamond 3/4 eternity band.
-alpha238 had a custom BGD ring designed for her ering, upgraded to a new stone, had to sell the old mount.
-The spinel sat in my gem box for about 4 years before being set into alpha238's setting.

The setting came from alpha238, who had had it custom designed from BGD. The sidestones are:
Traps 0.13ct each E-F VS1-VS2
Two 2.7mm E-F VS1-VS2 ideal cut melee
TWo 2.5mm E-F VS1-VS2 ideal cut melee
TWo 1.95mm E-F VS1-VS2 ideal cut melee
Two 1.83mm E-F VS1-VS2 ideal cut melee

Carat weight of diamonds: .73ctw

E B's custom sapphire and diamond band came from Whiteflash, she had them specially source the perfect color of periwinkle melee and paired them with tiny ideal cut melee in palladium.

I should mention at some point that this is a color shifting spinel - under fluorescent lighting, it goes more lavender, natural lighting more blue.
