To each her own. I do hope she''s utterly sweet to her neighbors the rest of the year, because making them put up with the endless streams of gawkers IS asking quite a lot, not to mention that you''d have to foil every window and double-caulk every door in your house to keep the light out at night, just to get some sleep.

There was a very OTT decorated house near us which sat right at an intersection on a main road. There was traffic for miles as people drove by to look or parked across the street wand walked over to see the lights.
Two years ago a girl died crossing the road because those idiot drivers were looking at the lghts not the road.
The house are no longer alowed to put lights up there.
