Welp, BGD has received my sapphires and they''re busy working on the charms. No CADs this time around since the bezels will be hand made around each stone and then hinged together. I wanted all the pieces to move.

Work has progressed and here are the sapphires and diamonds sitting in the rough bezels. They still need to be polished up and joined together. Unfortunately I won''t be able to get just the girdle bezeled since they needed more metal to attach the extra piece(s) for movement. The diamonds are .25ct each.

They look fabulous. The sapphires look incredibly blue and not affected by any undertones in the yellow gold bezel.

Aaand *drumroll* the earrings charms are finished and they came out looking great!

I picked them up at lunch today and they look amazing! This last batch of pictures made the sapphires look kind of dark, but they''re not at all. They''re just as blue as blue can be; bluer than the in process photo above. Unfortunately, they made the rings 2.5mm rather than 4mm so they don''t fit over my hoop earrings. I just about cried in the FedEx parking lot.

Shoot. I guess they are going back for new rings. Sorry that wasn''t right. But, that should be an easy fix, and then we will get our ear shots!

I picked up the charms again last night and they fit perfectly on my earrings! I took these first two pictures last night so they''re inside shots with the flash. The ear shot is the only one where the earring was totally in the picture and wasn''t so blurry that all you saw was a blob.

This one is also indoors with a flash. It makes the marquises look kind of yellow which they''re not at all. And I don''t think the diamonds in my earrings are that blinding white either. :p
