I would focus less on what they are worth, and more on if they are good quality. Amethyst in general is inexpensive and neither the stone or the setting on these look nice. If you want gemstone earrings then I would go to the colored stone forum and find the list of preferred vendors to help you make your earrings. In the end the value is a moot point, she is not going to turn around and sell them right? Resale on jewelry is never great so look for the best quality in your set budget.
