Its a .72ct I Vs2 ACA in my Legato Sleek Lines setting. (also from Whiteflash)

I have had such a yuk time lately I really needed something to cheer me up!

Thankyou! I had a .55ct and realised after a few weeks of having it that I wouldn''t be in a position to upgrade it for another couple of years so I put an extra few hundred quid and got .72ct. This ring will now stay with me until after hubby and I go to Italy to renew our vows. Got to start saving in earnest now!

Things at work have been weird. I think he told everyone what happened and now they are being very distant with me. I had been getting on pretty well with them before. He is behaving himself though so its worth it to me. I have to keep reminding myself that I am there to work - not socialise. I''m glad I saw my manager about it.

Maisie - I have been following your posts, and I think your new diamond ring is going to be just great. I am coming to the conclusion that while big blingy rings covered with pave look pretty neat, the best all around ring to maximize wearing and enjoying is a solitaire between 1/2 to 3/4 ct. Bigger is not always better, because you can''t wear the ring during as many activities. I would be interested to find out if you notice any difference in wearability between the .72 and the .55.

Please come back and let us know how it works with your life. But, I think you are really going to enjoy this ring for many years!

We are planning to go to Italy in April 2009. I posted the reasons for our vow renewal a little while back in this thread:

We had to change our plans from Jamaica to Italy due to us not being willing to leave our little boy behind.
