I must be missing something...

What about these temps says "boots weather"?? Warm and sticky? Boots?? Nooooooo.
Intense rain like waterfalls, leading to floods, dear @mrs-b. We had a few days like that this week.

At our actual home in Australia they are having a 29’c or 85’f at present however I’m currently in New Orleans and shivering through 13’c / 55’f and wind at a race track LOL. I know which I’d prefer.

We went cycling yesterday as the temps were in the 50s but the wind was brisk. We had a good workout. Sunny, 50s, windy. Today is less sunny similar temps. Tomorrow rain is coming for the next couple of days.

30F here now in NJ
It was 35F this morning on the playground, but felt like 25F
We stayed outside for 15 minutes before the teacher in charge had had enough
I was grateful to go inside, though I wasn't going to complain before that
Still, there were kids out there in sweatshirts. Why do their parents let them go to school without a coat, I don't know.

I live in South Florida though I used to live in Massachusetts...so I I get it. 55F is coat weather down here.

At current we have 74 degrees, very breezy, the AC is OFF! That mess that you guys have currently we will get tomorrow.

Overcast and mild today, just above freezing at 2°. Forecast for tomorrow is even milder, 5° and partly sunny. No white Christmas here :(2

Green Christmas, here. So mild! Sunny, no wind, and we went for a big hike in the hills. While I do love the milder weather, it doesn't bode well for next summer when f.i.r.e.s. can be problematic. :???:

We have four seasons too, day, evening, night, and morning.

... we don't wait months for the next season, just hours.
Oh and so far, zero heating bill this winter, and never a summer AC bill.
(but let's just not talk about housing prices, m'kay?)

We're just lean, green, keen machines. :saint:

Never a summer a/c bill? Where are you, Kenny? My townhouse is in Southern California, but there is NO WAY I could live there without central AC. Cambria - no a/c - fine. But everywhere else in southern CA - even San Diego and Santa Barbara, I'd have to have ac! What geographical magic have you tapped into??

HI:

It is 10C here and bright blue sky! Setting record warm temps for another month. Unreal and I LOVE it! I never want to see snow and ice again (LOL wishful thinking I know.....)

cheers--Sharon

Our weather at the moment

That wind. Very unpleasant (and destructive) sounding.

:confused2:I know, all we talk about is how this must just be gumming up the works for everybody else. We're used to it.
I hope it clears out quick and without too much trouble.

fahrenheit is so exhausting
by the tine i convert it, it will be summer

meanwhile the regional council of the west coast of NZ (south isalnd) have had enough of incorrect forcasts, it is really turning into the little boy who cried wolf and im not sure that story has a happy ending

wild fires in the Port Hills of Christchurch last night, that's the city in the South Island that has the earthquakes
everyone is safe but people are spending a 2nd night away from their homes
so far no homes have burned, just a couple of sheds/garages

I hope everyone stays safe. It looks so scary!

...

+1000

President Carter tried to drag America out of the stoopid dark ages, and into the smarter metric system.

But, Noooooo!
Muhrkahns were too stubborn, ignorant, and stoopid to accept base-10 units, which are simpler and intuitive.:doh::doh: :nono::nono::nono:
