I saw that stone around 2 am last night and I've been twitching ever since... I broke down shortly after my reply to this thread and told him I would take it.

If I was too late, great, I don't need to spend that kind of money at the moment. But if I get it, great... for obvious reasons. It's a win win.

That is doubly awesome! I'm so happy to hear that it is being snapped up by 1) someone who has an eye for color and neon; but even more importantly, 2) someone who is thorough in sharing photos and opinions when stones arrive. Can't wait to hear the report!

Oh, and although I have absolutely no right to be, I'm jealous as heck.

I am definitely a newbie, but this pair of chrysoberyls from RW Wise's retirement sale look gorgeous to me! And they seem less aggressively priced that others on his site. 8.47 cts total for $1,600.

Minou & Chris, the size of the purple star sap. was a problem for me too. Beside the fact that I just finished one project, have another almost done & a 3rd soon. It's SO pretty & different, but too small (for me) for a regular ring & too big for a pinky ring, for which I'm also looking for a stone.

Nice chrysos, Rosebloom, I noticed those. He has some rounds I like even better. Even on sale, I can't afford Wise.

I'm a chrysocolla fan, Blithesome -- sometime will have to have one. How much is that Etsy one, btw?

The front page of the site indicates stat the sale price is 20% off the stated price, but suggests that some items won't be discounted until July 13. I'm not sure if the July reference is a typo, in which case the price is 20% off of the listed price, or if some items won't be discounted for another month.
