CDNinNYC, it's nice to see someone else whose hubby has a thinner band! I was worried that a skinny band wouldn't look very 'manly' on my DH but it actually works nicely.

Octavia, if you have a photo of your DH's band, I'd love to see it!

My wedding band is 18kt white gold with about .25 tcw diamonds and curved to match my ering (approx 1.8mm width) and hubby's is a Titanium band with .48tcw diamonds and .16tcw of yellow sapphires (his band is 10mm width)... some pics:

I love your bands - to me they say ''we''re seriously married''. I''m going for a plain W/G band but my FI will get a plain platinum band because he''s a plumber and works with his hands.

Here are ours. Custom made by Joel McFadden Designs in NJ. My DH drew the pattern and they converted it into metal - note that the triquetra knot is different in each, mine a fluid much more feminine look and his an angular masculine look.

Mine is 14K yellow gold (has the white gold rails when slipped into the E-ring)
His is 14K yellow and white gold
Both ring backgrounds are brushed, white the knots are high polish

No way - they''re classic and timeless. Sometimes less is more
