Scott Kay Pave band VS Plain -- A taste test!!

No, I haven't yet. I'm still deciding between the shared prong band or the channel set pave band. And Isaac did say that they were getting in some new bands this week or next, so I'm going to hold off making any definite decisions until then.

Quick update: The new kind of thin shared prong eternity ring that Isaac mentioned to me is up on the SP website. Unfortunately, it's in 18 kt white gold, but can be made in platinum. He's going to send me the white gold ring to see what I think and, if I like it, he will make it for me in platinum.

Here's the link. You can see that there is less metal and more diamond on these bands than the other super thin shared prong.

Here is the latest thread updating the situation. Basically, though, I have already ordered 2 thin bead set bands to flank my MB lace band. They should be ready mid-January. Can''t wait!!!!!!

Just fooling around today and thought I would update the thread with more pics. I''ve been wearing my solitaire almost exclusively with the plain knife-edge band, but today I thought I would play around and see how my shared prong band looked with it. I sure do miss the bling of having a diamond wedding band. Too bad I can''t wear it all the time. I know it''s not the best match, but it''s sparkly. Bear with me -- I took a bunch!

I feel this band looks the best with your e-ring. I know many liked the plain band, but I like the additional sparkle in the band. I don''t feel it takes away from the beauty of your e-ring at all.

I love the new pics. I agree with Kaleigh that your stone is one of the prettiest here.I really love it with the shared prong the best. At least you can wear it like that every once in a while

Thanks K, Mrs. S, and Lizz! I am really liking the pairing too! I sure do miss all the bling of my original set. The damage issue is SO annoying though! Maybe I just worry about it more than I should -- my SC solitaire is already plenty scratched up just from normal wear. My new SP bands should be here on Wednesday so we''ll see how those look with my solitaire. More fun!
