i like tesla!!! a lot!! there is a song by omd actually called "tesla girls" so i definately think it works as a girl name.

If you are daring and careful, the mistral setting will showcase the tanzanite very well. The 3 colours of the tanzanite is incredibly fun and pretty.

Oh thank you for saying that! I am not so sure though that my setting would be safe for your tanzanite though. Although I did request that my sapphire be set with absolutely no air space and flush fit, I still would make sure that you have a setting that will protect the stone as much as possible. I absolutely adore your stone! I love seeing it in the gallery and in your avatar!! It is just dreamy! one of my favorite colors in a gemstone and the cut is just fabulous!! Did you say already how you may have it set??

I''m considering either the Mistral ring or the earring (turned pendant) setting from Sally at Heart of Waters, I posted pics previously.

Right now I''m leaning more towards the pendant for safety reasons.

I heard back from Sally, I think I''m going to go with an 18k rose gold Mistral pendant setting.

It might be a little while though since she has a back log and I''d like to get the tsavorite ring done before I start another project.
