WOW, that is breathtaking! You are right about it looking oval in the old setting but really being an emerald cut. Your setting is perfect and rose gold is a beautiful compliment to the pad.
Congrats on a job well done. You gave that stone a beautiful place to live!!!
Wow, so beautiful!! The detail on the sides of the ring and the bottom is really amazing. I have to say I haven''t seen a more beautiful underside of a ring. Beaudry seems to take everything into account in making a beautiful ring.
The color seems to look more saturated under sunlight, but is more orangy. It looks more peachy under halogen and fluorescent light. Under halogen, it looks almost like the ideal pink/orange blend.
AN, your ring is just amazingly stunning! I love the re-set. It does that beautiful stone more justice than in the previous setting. Enjoy wearing it...you''ve waited long enough

Here a a few day photos taken indoors late afternoon. The first one is facing a north window taken with no flash:
Linda W.: Can you make a July 21st GTG in San Francisco? Gypsy has a thread under "Hangout"
Ellen: I''m glad you are interested in getting a pad ring. It is a mesmerizing stone. I am never tired of seeing the change in color under different lighting conditions. It''s kind of a dangerous ring to wear when you are driving! If you can find one, try to get a medium tone unheated pad from Sri Lanka with 50% pink and 50% orange.
Oh No, we will be on vacation then... Nuts. I hope there will be another one, later on in the year. I really want to meet you all and show you my pads. I am really looking forward to seeing yours too
I had to laugh, you are so right!!!!! A Pad is a dangerous stone to wear while driving. I almost rear-ended someone last week, while watching mine. It is so hard not to look at it. I think I had just better wear mine, while my hubby is driving.!!!
Ellen: AN is right what she said about buying a PAD. Color, saturation, etc.
