aw, sorry guys, i''m really not holding out on you.

i can''t take any decent photos, even with the macro focus. it''s all blurry, and you can''t even see the shape properly!

going to to take some stones to my SO''s place this weekend to see if he can do any better with his camera...

the last one isn''t here yet, but the golden tourm is here and it''s beautiful!

I don''t usually buy such small stones, but this one is very sparkly. I''d love to put it in a simple tension setting.

In case you think I only buy stones from Dan and Gary, I don''t! It''s just they photograph their stones well and I want to present my lovelies'' best side!

ok, so i''m not a newbie anymore, but I might as well keep going on this thread.

inspired by the zircon asscher loriken had to give up (hope your husband is doing well loriken!) and that cellantani scooped up, I asked Gary to cut me a smaller stone.

the windmills on this aren''t as distinct, but I love the lighter color, as I was worried the other asscher was going to be too dark for me...

it''s on it''s way now and i can''t wait to see it

the oyo tourmaline is spot on the vendors pic (in daylight). It will darken at night and when set, i''m sure.

I picked it up from the mailbox on the way to my jewellers, so it''s already being set! Will post pics of the ring when done.
