My Etoile-esque wedding band!

I fell in love with Tiffany's Etoile band (but didn't care for the price or the width) so we had one made. Basically, we bought a 3mm platinum band and had little diamonds put in. 10 to be exact, all around the band. They're different sizes, so I'm not quite sure of the TCW.

It's hard to photograph how sparkly the stones really are or how delicate the band is, but I tried.

How do they get the diamonds to stay in there? I am trying to find a less expensive option myself to the matching wedding band to my Whiteflash micropave with Legato head. I thought of something similar (but the diamonds in a row with a 2mm band, and two of them so I can make a trio). Did you go to more than 1 jeweler with the idea?

They burnished the stones into the ring. I provided the plain platinum band, and they provided the diamonds/work. We saved a lot this way (over them making the ring from scratch).

I talked to a couple of jewelers about the process, and they all said that they could do it (provided the ring was a certain thickness).
