The bezel is slightly apparant on my e-ring. From the pics I''m guessing mine is a little more apparant than yours since your stone is so much bigger!

MelSue, the setting is not a halo or bezel, but the thin bezel look comes from the pave basket sitting right underneath the diamond. At first the ''thin bezel'' look was bothering me a bit, but the more I look, the more I like it! It makes the diamond look bigger than it is and many people think my stone is 2 carats plus! I think it''s because they don''t know much about diamonds, all they can see is the sparkles...

Punch, the carat weight for my stone is 1.64, I, VS1.

Mara, I know! Don''t you love the look of the Xmas light sparklies?? It''s my absolute fave way of viewing the diamond. It''s so pretty! I go to the lights every night to look at them for a good few mins. Sam just laughs at me when I do so.
